Hi..my DS plays Switch but have bought my daughter a Lite for her birthday. DS commandeers the TV. He has ASD and she'd never get a look-in/peace to play if she also had a Switch-it's a battle she just wouldn't be bothered with TBH. Also-we're travelling soon & the reviews seemed to suggest the Lite was better for that. But; I thought I had read that they could then join together on games? And that we wouldn't need duplicate games. Looking at another thread here now I'm not sure. Anyone know?

Hi you can do this for many games if you get the Nintendo switch online family mebership and download the game on both. you cant do it with the cartridge versions, you would need it in both switches at the same time, but with the virtual games like Fortnite, Minecraft etc you can play cooperatively via each switch: https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Nintendo-Switch-Online/Membership-options/Membership-options-1374627.html

Scroll down to Family Membership

Each f your kids will have their ow Nintendo Account and you can set it up for them to play on either the Switch or the Switch Lite and save game progress. Additionaly, whoever is the lead player, if you buy an online game or other content, you can share it with their accounts.

Play anytime, anywhere, with anyone

Play your favourite games anytime, anywhere, with anyone, with Nintendo Switch. Experience home console gaming on the go and enjoy your games however and wherever you want.

My Son tore the sticker on his cousins switch game as he was very frustrated with his cousin going on and on nagging him.
the game works perfectly fine it’s just the sticker partially gone however my brother is now insisting that I buy a brand new game??? My son has apologised and I know it won’t happen again.
my brother has said we should buy a new game then my son can have the game which has the torn sticker!
so I am expected to buy a new game even though the other game is working fine, it’s just the sticker torn!
my gut reaction is no. Obviously if tge gave was broken of course my son would be paying but it works fine.
any advice please?
