PS 4? For a fairly new gamer? Just for Jurassic world?!

So, am I being tight?! My son is a huge Dino fan, only thing on his list for Xmas is Jurassic world evolution 2. (He watched you tubers play it) He has a switch which he plays all the Lego games on and is an avid minecraft/ Roblox fan on iPad.
the PS 5 seems a huge (600 quid!) leap. I can get a refurbed ps 4 for £150. Would it be totally bad? He genuinely won’t care (I think) as wants the game not the machine if you see what I mean. I guess Xbox is another option but I know even less about them!
is there stuff the ps 5 can do on the Jurassic game that the ps 4 cant?

that of course supposed I could even get a ps 5 as seen out of stock everywhere!

Not 100% on this but I believe you can just play it via Steam so if you have a computer, problem solved. I do have a PS5 and quite honestly it was a nightmare to get hold of, so with Christmas coming up I imagine it'll be even harder now

Thanks, no PC just a work laptop that is so locked down I can’t get anything in it!! So a console is a must.
