Any suggestions for some kind of (online or not) game I can do with two ten year olds in our much looked forward to auntie/niece zoom next week?
Online games – a game, a virtual escape room?
The game to be played by 3 devices, but with the two of them and me connected by zoom.
Ideally free given they might not like them.
A trustworthy site.
Devices range; and eg ipads drop the picture out if the chat is being used etc.
for context -
we’e done various activities on our auntie/twin zooms, eg scavenger hunts, drama, singing to youtube videos on the shared screen, writing dialogue and acting, speeches, card tricks etc.
IT-wise girls are pretty tech savy and great with zoom and google searches etc. They currently really like doing things on their tablets and apparently play minecraft and ‘poki’ games by themselves. One scores very well for computing on her school reports too.
The last couple of times particularly we’ve moved towards more ‘online’ things, eg we’ve spent bloody fun hours doing harry potter quizzes on buzzfeed; we all do them on our own devices, and chat about the qs/results as we’re doing them. Auntie Data threw this in as a '5minute filler' and wouldn’t mind a change from this as she already knows what HP character she is, what house she’s in, who her harry potter bestie is, what her favourite lesson is and what house she’s in based on how she’d design her cupboard under the stairs.
