Any players on here?

I’ve never played before but me and my 11yr old wandered in to the local shop today out of interest!

We were given a figure from the 40,000 game and invited back next week for a free painting and game session!

We’re excited but no absolutely zero about it!

My husband thinks it’s a sure fire way of wasting money but I think it might be good for DS. Get him off his PC and something we could do together

If you don't know this already - there's another one of those partwork type magazines out at the moment - first issue is only £2.99 and you get some models of things (not an expert but husband was happy).

My 10yo has just discovered WH... oh dear

Are we better off starting with Underworlds, which i think can be played quite quickly albeit not quickly enough rather than the full game, does anyone know?

It's not my cup of tea but I have friends who are absolutely insane over it (to the point they moved here as we're like 10 mins from Warhammer World).

My husband plays it and he loves it. Can be a good bit of money but it's not a waste. Its great for Christmas and birthday presents. If he wants something he will make me a list so I know what he's after.
