I have Celeste so opening if anyone wants to visit DN04D

I had the star 🌟 one today! Loads of shooting stars and you get a little jingle before they fall too! Sadly I had to pick my child up so had to leave it or I'd have stayed on and got loads of stars - hoping they show up on my beach tomorrow.
I like taking the vines, I use them on my island.

I haven't had the star one yet!! I really want it but now I'm very low on miles

How is happy home designer anyway? I can't say designing houses is my fave thing but, largely because of the mechanics. But there are other appealing elements so I'm tempted.

Also, I wonder how having a villager on a holiday island might affect their liklihood of showing up or not when you go villager hunting for your actual town.

Oh, just happened to read that those DIY recipes only start showing up after you've done 5 holiday homes. So that explains why you weren't seeing them early on!

@Pinkbonbon the home design (not my favourite thing either, same reasons) is quite fun once you get going, doesn't take too long (everyone has a theme) it also opens up different things you can do- polishing, partitions, sparkle hearts, accent walls...you get promoted quite quickly so earn more 'poki' to buy all the new furniture...plus Wardall is now letting me order tons of different items I haven't seen before.

Also, there's facilities on the island you get hired to design (more poki for those!) Currently a school, cafe & restaurant...there's loads of empty buildings and plots so I can see moves island swaps (I'm hoping!, really want some of the villagers on mine!)

It's a massive bit of the upgrade, I'm really tempted to empty my island (not a restart!) and just see what furniture comes about.

Does anyone have Celeste visiting and I could pop over? Thanks!

New one for happy home...if you give one of your islanders a box of souvenir chocolates you can invite them over with you to make them a vacation home 😊

Hello. We are new casual players since the summer. I have started watching YouTube videos. We are missing Blathers. Tom Nook doesn't have an donate option when the lead islander talks to him in the tent. We have built the bridge and got Nooks Cranny. Anything else that we need to do to get the owl? We might have done the collect 5 fish thing at the start but my middle aged memory is shot. Thanks

You need to give him 5 fish or bugs then he will give you a kit to use to place the museum Do you have the kit in storage?

Try all of tom nooks options. I think there might be one like 'what should I do now?' so maybe that. Once you've given him enough bugs or fish he will call blathers then give you a tent to set up.

As pp said about the kit. Check your storage for a tent kit.

I don't think so as it would likely be grayed out in the store. But perhaps it could have been dropped around your island if its not in your pockets or home storage.

Oh and if you talk to blathersand ask 'what should I do' and he is still replying about catching creatures around your island then you'll know he is still waiting on more from you before he will give you the tent.

We did love poppy on my island until Dd sent her on her travels...now Everybody Loves Raymond .......
