Blimey, those last 30 or so posts went quickly! Here's a lovely shiny new thread.

My daughter plays. She’s 9. I’ll get her code a bit later.

I’ve been raising rockruff like no end trying to get a shiny and I’ve eventually given up. Saw there was a rockruff raid yesterday, so did it on my daughters account whilst she was in school.

What did she get…a shiny!!!!!!

I threatened to trade it but I won’t. I did ask her to trade it but she wants one of my favourite shiny battlers in return. So she gets to keep it

We have a shiny rockruff. DS did, indeed, win it in a raid.

I wish we could do higher tier raids but I think we're not high enough level to do them on our own yet.

I was in one of those queues, took 4 days, then I missed the notification as we getting ready for the school run! Tried a different app and got straight on.

I know it has been mentioned on this thread, but the discord group is pretty good for various raids in different time zones. So even if you dont get on with the app or the people, you can jump in on the odd raid.

I’ve currently got DD’s Pokémon in NZ. When the celesteela raids start (it’s early morning there right now), I will host one for her and get it that way

I am clearly still very new to this. How does that work? How can Pokémon be elsewhere.

I use a spoofing app.

Technically it’s not allowed but if you follow certain rules, you can get away with it.

For example, dd didn’t go on hers all night so technically could have flown to NZ in that time.

She will stay there for a few days, and then fly home. As long as I leave enough time between being there and being back in England, you can fly under the radar

Well. Dd is happy. Got her her celesteela, as well as region exclusive Pokémon such as chatot, blue shellos, red basulin and relicanth.

She also got her second shiny rockruff. This one she is happy to trade.

Will have her back in the Uk for the morning

DS beat his first tier 3 raid today. He is happy.

Just on this it is very much against the rules, there is no technically about it and also there is no getting away with it, if you are spoofing to places to NZ rather than just down the road, I would get an alt account.

They can ban you outright permentely at anytime, there is no 3 strikes rules, at the moment they seem to be concentrating on BL cheats rather than spoofers, but they are no longer banning in waves, if they think you are taking the piss your account goes

You might get lucky and get a week ban or a softban, but I wouldnt risk a main account to spoof without knowing it will go at any point

But there are people here, who might not be aware, and you are making it sound like its a slight infraction against the rules and its not

There are no rules that allow you to slip under the radar. The cooldown system has been proved not to be effective, I assume you are using a third party app to spoof and its that, that they pick up on, its why people using gotchas use to get banned. All it takes is for someone to sit there reporting your accounts to get you banned.

My DS got a soft ban recently because I played on his account and he was 200 miles away and also used his account.

Question for you all. How do you catch Pokémon that are very far away like Haunter is? It's really frustrating.

Yvetal was a bastard. Was worried I wasn’t going to catch him.

I got a shiny Yveltel on my first try it's apparently a 100% catch date with a shiny legendary which took the pressure off - one ball and it was done!
