Family games

Not sure if this thread is just for Xbox/PlayStation chat so apologies if this is in the wrong place......
Has anyone got any good games to play with family in different households. We all have different consoles so probably makes it difficult. Anything we can all download on a laptop/Amazon prime/phones etc where we can do quizzes or challenges etc.

A great family game that my family and friends love is History Heroes. Its a card game all about famous poeple in history. We always have such fun playing it and learning about the different poeple. Our favourite is the Explorers set.

We love Labyrinth. It’s a board game with a difference because it’s based on trying to get through a maze to collect various objects but each player in turn inserts a card which ‘moves’ the maze. Its a game that children of all ages (up to 80) enjoy. Also popular is Beetle and we just introduced them to Lexicon which is a card game similar to Rummy but you make words. The 9 year old is quite addicted.

Banana gram is popular too.

Jackbox games. Be sure to turn on the family friendly option if playing with younger children.

You need one screen that everyone can see - this can be shared by a Zoom/Teams/etc call. And then everyone needs their own computer or phone to play.

We have used jackbox for family scattered around the world we can all play together while on zoom.
