Thanks Magissa but a friend has let us user their island, I am always interested in visiting or being visited anyway. Am quite new to the game and would like to trade fruits ( I have cherries and peaches)

I've realised a way to stop having to dig holes before I hit rocks - place a piece of fence behind the rock to stand in front of when hitting the rocks.

I'm also mid design change - it's going to be another week or more before I've moved all the buildings let alone re-landscaped!

What also works when hitting rocks is to press the directional button into the rock as you're hitting it.. Gets about 5 hits.
