Nintendo switch games

My son has just got a switch. We have minecraft, (his favourite) Mario kart 8 and a flight simulator game. Would love some recommendations for other games to try. As the games are so expensive it's hard to choose as I worry it will end up being a waste of money!

1-2 switch is a great game, if you have one of the switches where the remotes remove (it is a 2 player game)

Super Mario Maker 2 is a great game.

All of the Super ario ones.

Splatoon 2.

Animal Crossing.

Terraria.

The Pokemon games never get old.

If you have the online subscription there are usually free games/trials/demos.

Zelda is amazing

Splatoon 2 and Zelda are great.

Donkey Kong Frozen Island is fun; I have 2 boys who usually fight with each other but they're always giggling when they play that together!

Minecraft Dungeons is a hit in my house

Ni no kuni.

The art is very 'studio ghibli'.
It's about a boy who goes into a magical world to try and save his mother.

If he likes minecraft, try minecraft dungeons. My two love that! And it's not too expensive for the basic game, although there are add on map packs to buy as well.

If he likes the building side of minecraft, try animal crossing. It's a different type of game, but based on the same idea of building your own world. My kids love animal crossing, and so do I!!

Mario Party is fun if you have multiple people to play with.

My son (8) absolutely loves Mario Odyssey. I think that's what it's called.

And Animal Crossing is a BIG hit in our house.
