Where are the best places in or around London to find good Pokémon please?! It's the latest fad for my 2 younger DCs (10 and 12). Thanks

What Pokémon are you looking for? You need to Google "Pokemon Go London Nests" to find the one that you're after. Nests mean that the Pokemon is easy to find on that place but they rotate every fortnight so more the date that the best list was posted

My other advice is always do Community Day - it's monthly and next one is Saturday 8th August between 11 and 5. A couple of hours is plenty for your kids to find a shiny (rare variant) of the featured Pokemon. A place with lots of stops and gyms near each other (like a park) is ideal because it's more likely that they'll find someone to raid with.

Pokemon also have a weather component to them. If they normally hunt in wind, sun or cloudy weather, it's worth logging in to see what is spawning in rain (or even snow!)
