Ooh look! A shiny new thread! Hello everybody.

I just did a five star raid in New Mexico and won my first Rayquaza - it's three star and SHINY! I might explode with joy...

I'm unbelievably jealous of that shiny Ray, Bella, I must've done hundreds of Ray raids last summer trying to get one and had zero luck. So I'm more than up for any remote ones this week for Black Ray Quest Part 2 if anyone wants to invite me

There is an egg/ raid hatching in 23 minutes near me, fingers crossed it's one!

And does anyone have an uptodate list of defeating leaders?! Sieras Ladas is proving hard to beat !

Lapras I think you need to switch if your mons aren't huge CP numbers.
I start with magnezone and use up one of her shields and I think one of mine, then switch to hariyama and can use up another shield but can just about get a 3rd charge move off to kill it before I die. Then need to be lucky that whats left of magnezone and my 3rd one can kill off last 2 with a bit of careful switching...
I know she is supposed to be vulnerable to grass but none of my grass types or strong mons with grass moves are any good against her...

Having been in a few Ladas- those are also hard to beat!

I have only managed to get past her lapras once. Then her exeggutor destroyed me- she's the last leader I have left to defeat.

@bigchris I am by no means a battle expert but I am starting to realise the order of the Pokemon’s really matter when battling team rocket. Sierra’s lineup is weak to fighting so a good machamp is good here. However, I needed to remove her shields first which I did with a scizor with night slash. After that my machamp took care of the rest. It’s really trial and error I think.

I will also be doing Rayquazza raids today (Poketwoboys and Pokeboys8000). I’ll invite who I see online and hope for the best, but if anyone is keen let me know and I’ll add you. I have 10 gyms within 500 meters so should be able to do a couple of I time it right 😊

@bellabelly that is a gorgeous Rayquazza! Hope to get a shiny one too! I put an incense on last night and caught a shiny AKOL an exxegutor - so chuffed!

DS2 was doing sports club yesterday so DS1 and I spent our 1:1 day strolling around town . Nothing remarkable caught, but I can tell I've not paid much attention to the game lately as I suddenly realised that I'm at 2m stardust after taking years to build up to 1m.

I bought a gotcha a couple of months ago. It will not connect to my usual phone, just turns the bluetooth off It is connecting to my old phone which has DS's account on it. I need to get some decent batteries for the go plus as the cheapy ones I got are next to useless. I also need to get my legs back on to running form.
