anyone else playing?
I've found it surprisingly addictive. I know it was a flop when first launched, but I think it must have come a long way.
The community is lovely. I don't use a mic or chat as I don't really want to do the social side. but running into other players on there is usually quite a pleasant experience. I normally just wave back at them. There seems to be a big pay it forward ethos.
whilst being a low level, players have helped me out, showing me what needs doing in some events,(I stumbled into an event and was quite clueless as to what the hell was going on)
others have left gifts for me, plans, guns ammo, food. Lots of players leave massive stashes in suitcases around the game for others to find.
if you end up as wanted, by doing something minor by accident, it makes playing quite annoying. another player will probably come and kill you, to remove your wanted status, then leave you a gift for when you respawn.
The game can be glitchy, and sometimes the need to grind for supplies takes time away from the quests.
I love open world games so love just exploring then going back to the main story line.
My pay it forward so far has been leaving starter bags at the entrance of vault 76, of my no longer needed low level armor and a gun, plus water and food.
