Hi
We have a Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite. Both have have the same accounts on. Is it possible to play games against each other at the same time? We have downloaded Overcooked 2.
Hopefully someone can help. I have tried to Google, but it's so confusing. When your playing the game there is an option for friends, but it doesn't seem to work.

I think you can but you need a family online account. Don’t quote me on that but it might help with googling!

Overcooked 2 is two player anyway, are you trying to do four player?

We want to play together, but on separate consoles.

You can play online, you need to invite them into your lobby, I've never tried to do it with the same account on both though so I'm not sure if that's different. There's no advantage to playing on two different devices, can you not just play together on the tv, if you have one?

I would go with no, not on the same account on 2 different consoles.
But you can play overcooked 2 on the TV 4 player on the normal switch. Its an infuriating game though 😠.
