Gaming help I’m clueless

I want to buy my kids a games console. They are all girls and like things like Minecraft and animal crossing. They also like fitness and sports things. What should I get them? Hard to explain just how little I know about this stuff.

The Nintendo switch would maybe be your best bet? More multiplayer options, a wide selection of games and you need to move and jump for some of them! Rather than an Xbox or PlayStation! The Kinect for the Xbox is another good option though, depending on the games you want and budget you have

The Switch would be my recommendation but they are very hard to come by at the moment. I assume you want a console that more than one of them can play on at the same time? (So the Switch Lite would not be a suitable option, that's like a hand-held device).

Beyond that, the mainstream games consoles (Xbox, PS4) are much of a muchness, they may want to be on whichever console their friends use, so they can play together online. Animal Crossing is only available on Nintendo consoles, though. If you can get hold of a Switch, that is what I would go for - Amazon have some in at the moment but they are pricey.
