Both DS play Minecraft on their kindle fires and have started being able to go into each other’s worlds. They now want to start joining other servers and I don’t have a clue how to do this. Any help appreciated.

Not exactly sure if this will be helpful seen as it's so late afterwards, but if it is still of any use,

To set up a private minecraft server, usually you either pay to have a company host it for you, which is relatively simple to set up and use, or you host it on your computer which does take a lot of setting up and is quite complicated. There are guides to help you if you want to run it on your own computer though like this

I would only recommend hosting it yourself if either it's not a public server, one where only a few people will have the address or you know exactly what you are doing as hosting it on your computer can cause your computer to be vulnerable to attacks if you do it wrong, or even sometimes if you do it correct.

@ellalina

My other message explains the answer to the minecraft server question, after writing the entire thing out and posting it I realised I forgot to tag you in it.
