I've been playing this quite excessively on my Switch and just had to start a thread to say how much I love this.

I'm at the start if Autumn in year 2 and I'm going to get married soon! I'm also about to unlock ducks and I've got various tree tapping going on and it's just so much fun!

Anyone else love this game?

I have over 100 hours playing time according to steam (PC version). I'm currently on summer year 4 so my farm is more established (have all types of animals and restored the community centre) and my character is married with 2 kids. I've still got various quests to complete though (mostly end game) to keep me interested and coming back. The new 1.4 release definitely helps!

Haha - I'm still waiting on rain so can't get the amulet but I'm then going to be Mrs Shane!

Just given this game to my BF's son for Xmas.. spread that Stardew love. I thought there'd be more fans on here, tbh!

So I'm now married to Shane and we have baby Kylo... I get lots of Pepper Poppers from DH, so am pretty happy with that!

Still need fish for the Community Centre though - that's hardcore!

Ohh haven't played for a while but I did love this, reminded me of animal crossing. I too play on steak and cannot remember who I married but he was a right useless buggar, MN would definitely tell me to LTB!

Haha.. there was a dicey moment when it looked like Shane had gone back to hitting the bottle and the entire village saw my shame! But Marnie & I staged an intervention and turns out he's a gaming addict instead Grin

I do kind of like the way the characters are a bit flawed - can you tell I've spent faaaaar too long on this. But they're surprisingly fleshed out considering you only really see their 1 minute cut scenes.

I am obsessed. I have a farm up to year 4 but wanted to do a fancy farm this time around and going for the golden clock (which is 10 million). I am currently bribing Shane to marry me with Pizza and Pepper Poppers. Grin

Oh and three away from the community centre. All of them are bulletin board stuff. Completedly the fish one in year one :)

Here is my year 4 farm. It's not as nice as I wanted it. I married Leah on this save. Its a game changer once you get ancient seed and can create wine.

I would get a seed maker which happens farming level 8 (I think). Once you unlock the greenhouse grow it. Then get kegs and start making wine. It takes about 5 days, but I make about 10K from 4 barrels. Once you mature it, you will be rolling in the money.

I can’t believe I just found this thread. I downloaded it on my iPad a few days ago and I love it. I’ve just started Summer year 1 so am a total newbie still. Lost two hours of my morning yesterday playing it Grin

Don't sell you ancient fruit until you can start multiply it.

My greenhouse. I got the ancient seed on day 7 and have multiplied it since harvesting. There is an extensive wiki you can watch.

Genius... I think I planted mine... but I might get more as I have both the Greenhouse and a Seed Maker! I am on it!

And Melly - the obsession is real, I can't believe how much time I spend, littering around my virtual farm!!

@SanFranBear you can turn the fruit into seeds. They have a pretty rare drop rate.

I’ve shown my partner this game and now he has downloaded it Grin
I’ve started making Mayonnaise as I got my coop built yesterday. I panicked as my baby chicks escaped but a quick look on google said they automatically go back in the coop at 6pm. Wish I’d googled that first. I spent about 15 minutes trying to herd them up Smile

I must admit, my chickens and ducks fend for themselves.. and so do my cows etc when my fence breaks Grin

I finally learnt Dwarfish so can talk to Dwaft guy now.. he sells some amazing stuff!

@MellowMelly be careful as wild animals can attack them. That's why I have fences around my coop and barn. I am in the process of upgrading another barn for all my pigs. So I can get truffles.
