Yesterday I did a last ex-raid and 5* raid for the foreseeable future. I can see a gym at the end of the next road so may be tempted to do the odd solo raid while I’m ‘social distancing’ and WFH.

Unlikely to be able to send many gifts as a result, sorry friends.

The incense idea is inspired! Thanks to pp for explaining the one a minute spawn as otherwise I may not have bothered. Bit bored of the fighting types though.

My last T5 ran on me. I was gutted. I'd talked DS into doing the Thundurus and we solo'd it easily with 30 secs over. Then mine broke out of every ball. It was rubbish IV but I like to keep my duo'd ones.
Cabalion is only realistically a trio. We'll still do it with my neighbour who's pretty much housebound anyway due to ill health. He apps us when he wants to raid and we stand outside his front door. We chat most days, and can actually trade from our own houses but I haven't physically seen him for months.
The new Genesect research can be solo'd and done from home, according to reports. There's no gyms or Pokestops involved. please don't let that mean trainer battlesThat said, I'm not sure I want to spend 8,99 sitting on my sofa. I'd be better off with Netflix!

@OhLookHeKickedTheBall Those of you well enough could still drive/walk around or something- just avoid other people. I'm not saying that's the official advice though.

What do you all think of the new (ish) PvP with random ppl system? I think the rewards are great, but I don't seem to often win. Is there a 'trick' to winning?

How can you get sick of Makuhitas/Hariyamas? They're awesome. I'm a bit bored of Raiku raids, we seem to have had them fairly often here over the last few months (am in Brum.) Also boring are Cloyster raids. I suppose I should just 'think of the money' (candies etc.)

For those that are on Samsung. There is a £5 coupon that can be used on Pokémon go in the Samsung app store. Just start to download one of the other games and it gives you the voucher. Cancel download and voucher is available in Pogo.

I'm feeling pleased that I've just had a pokestop submittion accepted today and a new gym will turn up tomorrow. Just another 50+ submissions to go. Hopefully when they go through, more people will have a pokestop close to home.

I managed my first wild shiny in ages, a Mr Mime. Quite happy with that.

We appear to be on double catch stardust atm too. I'm a bit disappointed at no shinies given how many I'm catching with incense per day!

I got a shiny Rhyhorn from incense, which was disappointing since I got 10 of them on CD really hoping for a shiny Elektrike or Nincada from this event if the PoGo gods are being kind.

Did everyone get the research completed before the spawns disappeared?
I still need 7 ice-types, which is doable, but DS hasn't caught all 25 electric-types yet. Normally we'd have played in town with the group but we stayed at home where we've far fewer spawn points.
I never thought we'd be glad to see minuns and plusles! Except I've not seen any of those yet either........

Caught a shiny Plusle last night from my sofa on what was supposed to be my last night of self isolation.

I’m stuck on 25 fire types. Put an incense on and didn’t get a single one. I did however realise that I put it on just after the weekend event finished at 10pm on Monday as I was getting plenty of Houndour prior to that 🤦🏽‍♀️

I stopped playing Pokemon Go in 2017 when I was put on bedrest with a difficult pregnancy and couldn’t get out at all. It really isn’t a game for playing at home alone!

Im stuck on 25 water types. Incense isn't spawning that many. If its not time limited though I won't worry! I thought we had to finish it by tomorrow.
I am running out of balls though! Hoping to do my daily exercise round the football pitch with loads of stops to stock up.

I can’t reach a pokestop from where I live so unless I go for my excerise walk to my nearest stop I think my stocks are going to go down quickly. No gifts either obviously and I don’t like opening gifts if I can’t send one back.

@TheGriffle You really should open gifts. Some people really need people to give them too so that they can up friendship level with you.

Still waiting for way to many pokestop submittions to go through. I've upgraded one in a local pokestop dead zone, so hopefully those more local to it than me will get something to spin soon.
