I'm Nex... in the game. I'm about to add some friends from people who have posted their numbers on here. Don't worry about sending me gifts - I'm already at level 40. I just need friends for a task.

@bittercup tell me about it, i was at a kids party on the last community day which ran at the exact same time 😡😡 and this time I'm making the cake for my own daughters birthday party and I really can't afford to lose a few hours, but I think I'm going to have to make the excuse that I need to go and collect the party balloons at 11am 😂

A lovely friend sent me an invite to the EX raid. Over 20 of us were there so we split into groups. Nobody got a shiny Mewtwo, unfortunately but one got a Hundo. Jammy get. Mine was rubbish but, unusually for me, I didn't mince it, 'cos it's Mewtwo innit.

Then me, another bloke and lovely friend went for a wander and stopped outside a bookshop and I got to explain the plot of The Handmaid's Tale very briefly.

The bloke said "men wouldn't do that, would they?"
Me "Every killing of a woman depicted in the book is based on the real life killing of women by religious zealots throughout history."
Bloke. "I don't read history books"
Me. "It's science fiction, set years in the future. It's brilliant."
Bloke. "Sounds scary."
Me. "It's fucking terrifying, it should be required reading for GCSE."

We then went and trioed a Klink before we all went our separate ways. A good day really.

I did my first ex raid today and got a Shadowball Mewtwo. My friend, who I bloody well invited, got a shiny one.

This is what happened to the ex-raid in Hong Kong today. I suppose it's just not safe at the moment.

I had a lovely EX raid. This is the one that my blue team (2nd account) got. Yeah great IVs. Then the one that is shadow is the one I got on the silke106 acount, that one isent that bad. Then at another EX raid that I didn't have a pas for but DM went and brought me with her, she had such wet fingers, that I had to catch the mewtwo For here. after she dropped 2 balls 🙄. So overal. A ok day.

Eek, I hadn't realised things were so bad in HK.

The ex-raid in Germany was weird and nothing like our local raids. It was busy and they all seemed to know each other but there was no team work. One woman was having internet problems and was yelling that she couldn't get in and everyone just went 'oh' and carried on. I hotspotted her and she got in to the second round with one phone but didn't make it with the other one. I can't believe no one jumped out. Her son missed out totally on a mewtwo! Our raid group would all quit and rejoin if that happened
Anyway, as Mojang said, I was freezing cold and soaking wet by that point. I dropped the first two balls so gave him my phone to catch for me. He was warm and dry in the car.
We had a second raid later back on home turf. DS is pretty gutted with the IVs (that was sarcasm!) and is hoping to go lucky friends with himself for a straight swap.

I won't be able to play much for the next two weeks because of work so apologies if the gifts dry up for a bit.

Feeling pretty good today - got a ditto yesterday (it was a weedle) and caught my dragon type type today - Alolan Exeggcutor. Haha! Just gotta figure out how to manage the kids plus mewtoo raid hour tomorrow (?) and I'll be golden.

I have finally reached level 40!!! Feels like a greater achievement than my degree.

Our raiding group will all jump out if one of the others is having problems, because it's the right thing to do in a game that is supposed to be friendly. It helps that we are actually friends irl.

4 weeks in a row I’ve got that flower Eevee as my weekly research reward

Flower crown eevee is the only reward until next month

Apparently Niantic think we all want a flower crown of every possible eevolution.

Made it out for Mewtoo raid hour yesterday, got 3 out of 4 'mons but they're all crap, 75% or so. Disappointing.

I'm not very impressed with that flowery Eevee either! Need a legendary for that research task and I already had flowery Eevee!

Next month!?!? Good thing I don't have access to pokestops any more- at least it's not as infuriating knowing that I am missing out on the rewards/ legendaries.

I think a fair number of the people I’ve met on raids are keeping a ‘living dex’ so they probably do want flower crown of every evolution. Whereas I have things I don’t have and would rather have than another bloody flower crown eevee.

Got 4 out of 4 mewtwo mostly 84%ish. No shiny though but have completed my Gen 1 dex now.

@drogon1 fingers crossed we manage it then! Luckily the venue is a poke stop so I'm going to find myself a corner and hope my resting bitch face puts people off sitting with me and seeing what I'm up to!

Unless you say otherwise I will open gifts as I've asked on here a few times previously so guess you aren't checking the thread and we've been stuck in no man's land for ages. I'm Malidice by the way.
