@feesh I honestly don’t know if I will be in a position to egg at 8am on Saturday. If I send a gift to you, you can open it when it suits you. I’ll hold on to your gift until after. I’ll hit level 40 whether I have an egg on or not when you trigger it!

I’m due to level up with quite a few people on Saturday so I don’t mind missing out on the extra XP in this case.

@PhilomenaButterfly Step away from the Pineapple... Depending on the area, there is a lot of ‘drift’ on gyms and I’ve missed joining a few raids where I can’t get in while everyone else is in the lobby. The worst for it that I know is called Dirty Dicks and I’m certainly not pressing my nose there...

@murree I love my Gotcha. I set it to autocatch mode and it means i can multi-task ie spin a poke stop while it’s catching Pokémon or vice versa, or carry on catching/spinning while I’m doing a rocket battle/sending gifts/checking Pokédex etc. It’s quicker too, it can start trying to catch before it appears on screen. I walk/train mostly and catch far more than usual with it so it’s great for building XP and stardust. And occasionally catches stuff that I didn’t even see was there. Its £30 from Amazon and worth it IMHO.

@YogaDrone Anytime today? My DD is poorly so I’ll be indoors on WiFi all day...

This shadow is Turtwig isn’t it? I have Turtwig and all its evolutions but for some reason they’re showing as shadows for me this morning?!

@xSharonNeedlesx I had the same. I wonder if that’s a glitch in the run up to Turtwig community day on Sunday?!

I think so, just evolved a Turt on the off chance I got the double XP but no such luck!

I had the Turtwig shaddows on Saturday, I don't have all the evolutions yet, and I had to double check it wasn't community day. We was on a day out at a local attraction so I couldn't go off wandering to find out where they were.

Yes I had the same with Turtwig and I also have all the evolutions.
I caught a Feebas today so have finally evolved the one I’ve been walking!

@yogadrone Thanks for the battles. I’m very proud of my Tyranitar/Rhyperior/Groudon team 😊 I was trying to mix it up and use some of my other high CP mon but I didn’t realise they’d be quite so strong, sorry! Happy to rematch, just let me know when suits (and thanks for the well wishes for my daughter, thankfully now she seems to be on the mend).

I also need battles if anyone can accommodate - I’m redlottie!

@Blueroses99 don't apologise! I need to learn how to battle. My DS usually does this sort of thing as he understands the combinations and knows what is good to use against which mon, but he's at school so I had to go it alone. I will ask him to design me a kiss-ass team for battles too

Wow how did I go through so many gifts already today .... now have to wait till tomorrow to get some more 7km eggs!

I have a lot of friends sitting on eggs even though we’re nowhere near levelling up. Is there a reason people do this? Today I had to send 10 gifts for my task and out of 25 friends I was only able to send 8 gifts

You can only open 20 gifts a day. So if someone has loads of friends they might struggle. I have 130 (max is 200) so sometimes I just can't open as many as I'd like.

If it says '1 more day to be ultra' does that mean we both have to open the gift or just one of us?

Gifts is a tricky one, last week I was sitting on them because I didn't want to pick up 7k eggs when I was hoping for Unowns. Now I'm opening like a mad woman for shiny regionals.

Sometimes, as pp said, you just have too many friends to be able to open them all. I try and rotate but I do often forget who I haven't interacted with in a while.

@HypatiaCade, just one person has to open to trigger. You might want to give a shout out to whoever it is so they can egg.

It's Guzzlord725 - I called out in this thread yesterday and no response. They opened a gift from me last night, and just sent me own now, so if I want to open it I should release an egg just before?

Thanks for the replies about the eggs. I didn’t realise you could only open 20 gifts per day and yes it also makes sense that people would hold onto them whilst hoping for the Unowns. I got 5 shinx and a dratini in my 10ks during that week!
