Ok, I have no idea what I'm doing but I think I need friends.

Am I missing a trick with books? I have 650 bloody scrolls but not enough books and so I can’t level up my profession. Is there a way that I can get some easily?

Red spell books you earn through doing challenges at fortresses and the occasional in game reward/event. Each time you level up the challenge registry you earn two red books.

Restricted section books (look green) you earn through the brilliant events. They have typically been doing two brilliant events per month and you get 15 green books per event which is usually enough to unlock one module on the skill tree

@PinotAndPlaydough you could always use those scrolls for one of the other professions while you stock up on books.

@eurochick, does the effect my ability to fight in fortresses or can you switch between professions?

You can switch between professions at any time without losing progress on your current profession. You will be weaker in fortresses and oddity battles in the second profession until you open enough things. There are certain modules that you should try to unlock “first” in each profession to be stronger and you can find loads of guides online.

I would keep a certain amount of scrolls to ensure you have enough to complete your current profession and bear in mind that at some point further lessons will be introduced

It is a real grind playing solo but I don’t think I’ll ever meet Anyone else playing near my area

I’m still playing. I’m also playing alone so there are some things I just can’t progress on which is annoying but I really enjoy the special events and manage to complete most of them.

I have just seen details/task list for the next brilliant event on Instagram. Does anyone want a link I don’t want to spoil it if people like a surprise.

Has anyone seen a Knight Bus yet?

@eurochick yes me here again and yes still playing. Do you have update 2.12.1 (just came to iOS this morning)? Once you have that Knight Bus will be introduced slowly by player level

I’m level 46 and the knight bus just dropped for me. If you normally battle solo Might be good to have a read up on battling with others as five other players joined in my first round. Seems to be working okay so far

The update dropped for me last night. I enjoyed the multiplayer battles.

I started playing again about 3 weeks ago. Really enjoying it again, and i love the knight bus.

What’s going on with all the stuff in the registry? Have I missed something

@PinotAndPlaydough you can prestige individually rather than by completed page now.

Has anyone else got the same weird glitch as me? The only way I can get into the registry is through catching the final trace of something through a portkey

It's encouraging me to remember to have a portkey on the go I suppose.
At least I saw the warnings before I prestiged my pages prematurely and lost lots of fragments.

Hope you don’t mind me asking - we’re “friends” on Wizards Unite - how on earth did you manage to get so high a rating on the SOS training already?? Any tips? Thx.

Aw sweet you will have to remind me of your in game name!

First of all I’m level 55 so I had the biggest freebie gifts when they launched SOS and have all the nodes available to me. Other than that I’ve just played as much as possible especially during events such as wizarding weekend to collect the field guides etc. All my pages are gold so I am awarded quite a bit for placing foundables.

I went for Xp from treasure trunks (now at 1,500 per trunk), departure denial, spell mastery, potion reduction and trace charm improvements x
