Wii or Xbox kinect

In looking to buy a second hand console for my 5 year old girl who's never played a console before but Im not sure whether to get the Wii or Xbox 360 kinect any advice would be great

Wii is ideal starter console for younger kids and has more games appropriate for that age range.
