I'm loving the new special research. I'm not loving that none of my Pikachu have been shiny. Harrumph (Dr)

Saw a pink mareep but I had no pokeballs to catch it! Gutted. Could see it was a shiny though, thought you could only tell once you'd already caught them though.

GooodMythicalMorning No. You can tell if a Pokemon is shiny the second you click on it. It makes shiny hunting easier; if you’re in a rush or low on balls just click and run away if not shiny and you don’t want it.

It’s only Dittos that you don’t know is a Ditto until after it’s been caught.

Finally, a successful day!! 2 shinies (Beldum and Mareep), new Dragonite and Metagross, and the best of all..... a replacement Ttar!!!! Behold! He's not as good as the one stranded in Wales, IVs are a bit shite, but he does have Smackdown GrinWine

Oh AND I got a Sinnoh stone on my research breakthrough, So I now have a Rhyperior My box was a Suicane, meh, but better than a blimmin Shedinja!

When do the community day spawns stop? 11 p.m. PST is apparently 7am GMT tomorrow? Is that right? Need to know when to evolve my best ones by.

Only managed a shiny squirtle but that at least replaces the one I accidentally transferred when dd distracted me during squirtle day.

DD got a shiny charmander. She's been rubbing it in ever since.

Got enough candy to evolve a mareep and dratini I was waiting on fully and some extra to power them up so not so bad in the end.

dillite Yes, there tends to be only one community day a month. A couple of months have had two, but that’s rare.

I wonder what the Xmas event will be. Delibird again? Hopefully not a third year of Santa hat Pikachu. Would be nice to mix it up a bit. Elf hat Pikachu?

Well, I managed to get out for a couple of hours today but no shinies. Sad Still shiny Eevee evades me!

I have evolved a Ttar, Dragonite, Shiny Dragonite, Charizard, Shiny Venusaur and an Amphoros all with their community day movesets though so I can’t complain at all. Smile

I hope everyone else had some success!

Do you know, I did not get a single shiny!!!
DS had about six, and yet we play together. Both clicked on the same Pokémon. Confused
I did get another t'tar so I'm happy about that. I evolved her in bed this morning, just as the event was ending, so I could get the special moves. Is blast burn really better than stone edge?

One of my DSs manages a 99% IV shiny Charmander at home at 6:55 this morning so he was thrilled.

A Christmas event would be great but it can’t start until next week because I’m too busy for much PoGoing this week!
