Throw straight at it, when it's closest to you. No faffing. It'll escape twice, then you'll catch it.

I found out what was wrong with my gps, at some stage, probably an update my location settings got changed, put it back to high accuracy and its working perfectly again. Doh. Annoying as its been a week of it barely working.

When does this event finish? Finally managed to get my ditto so now on 5/9 for meltan tasks. Feeling hungover today so would prefer not to go out pokemonning but am aware I have limited time left!

The only thing I hate with the high accuracy on my phone is that it's too accurate!
DS has an iPhone 5s and it reaches far further than mine. He can catch Pokémon halfway down the road and reach Pokéstops from the car.
And then again, it's not even accurate. Everything I catch at home is labelled as from a village several kilometres and IN ANOTHER BLOODY COUNTRY!

TallulahBetty There’s loads of Evolve 2 Anorith quests about which give you a Scyther so just look for those

baroness you and me both. I need to catch a ditto. I haven't been able to get the task from any of the stops I have spun so far, it is so unbelievably frustrating. Especially as the day before getting the ditto task I caught 2 in the wild!

I also need ditto so am somewhat stuck for now..

Same here @TangelaHair, in the last 6 days I've seen 2 'Mon that can change into Ditto. It's really bloody annoying.

@Vickster42 not a problem - I was logged out and managed to catch it in time when I logged back in ... now levelled upto 34 and aiming to get to 35 before Christmas

can I just check, will the meltan task remain, just the spawns/extra 'mons disappear after the 27th? I'll be another getting it in 2020 too.

I've also go 'evolve 2 pidgeys'...can I find a pidgey? Can I f*ck. So annoying as I have loads of candy.
