can I just check, will the meltan task remain, just the spawns/extra 'mons disappear after the 27th? I'll be another getting it in 2020 too.

JuniLoolaPalooza Yes, the actual Meltan task isn’t going anywhere. It’s just the spawns that are boosted for this event and the task will go back to normal, so it will be exceptionally hard to complete afterwards.

It happened again! Put this egg on 2 mins ago and it immediately showed as this!!

I have the day off and was going to make a big effort with raids - none! There are 3 gyms within a few minutes walk and nothing going on. Usually can do one on way back from school run and today nothing!!!

ContraryToPopularBelief and Mariekachu02 You only have a chance of receiving an egg if you have a free egg slot. If you don’t, you have no chance. If you do, it’s not guaranteed; it’s just chance.

Hurrah I just got my Meltan woohoo. It’s bloody tiny and useless. How are we ever going to get 400 candies to evolve it!

Trying Do you or anybody you play with have a Switch? You can get an item from Switch wonders called a Mystery Box which spawns Meltans for 30 minutes.

I'm dead impressed by the kilometres some of you are walking! I'll quite happily do 50km a week in summer but in this weather it was a push to do the 12 I did manage to clock up.

@BaronessBomburst I manage a lot of distance / but I go running multiple times a week and other stuff, plus I think adventure sync sometimes double counts if you have multiple eggs hatching etc too...

The gyms were kind to me today and after hours of walking, I finally have my meltan. Dd is going to have to wait a long time I suspect though.

There’s loads of 20mph zones near me. I have a feeling my phone is counting some of my driving as walking but I’m not sure
