Pokemon Go #19: Mewtoo Me Are Everything

Old thread was almost full and it had to be done.

I went for another Entei today as figured it was my last chance to get a better one and accrue candy. I can get a Suicine next week, but since I only raid on my own that's it for Entei.

I'm going for a Suicane rather than another Entei, swayed by my pokemon mad children who say Suicane is better.

MrsJamin Actually, out of the three legendary dogs Suicune is by far the worst. It’s a defensive Pokemon, and you can’t put legendaries in gyms which makes it virtually useless. Also, even if you could put legendaries in gyms, it wouldn’t be the best defensive legendary to use either - that would be Lugia.

It also can’t learn Hidden Power anymore, which was its only water type STAB fast move, though even when it did have Hidden Power it wasn’t that impressive. It only has an attack of 180 which is pretty poor.

Suicune is one of the worst legendary Pokemon there is; it’s basically just decoration.

Any tips for an excellent curveball throw - I’ve managed a great.

Cats go for anything with a big circle. Ponyta, Wailmer, Nosepass, Doduo..

I hung on to them for a while but then used 3 in close succession yesterday. All worked first time.
It was a lucky day as despite not going out actively hunting, I came across a Tangela, closely followed by a Porygon. Then soon after found a Chansey (which I almost didn't' click on as it had its back to me and I thought it was a JigglyPuff!)

I'm using the ones I get from field research but always have 10 in stock!

Finally got a Mewtwo! Tried a second raid after but didn’t catch it. That’s my Kanto dex complete.

Yes for excellent curve balls, large Pokemon with big circles are the best. If you only ever use curveballs to throw it’ll get easier and you might get a fluke one without even trying

Just trying another shout out for jessddddd and FrisbyRat. Do you want to coordinate lucky eggs for becoming best friends? Also to avoid spamming the board, DelphAlex, BrieLane and Psychick90 we will go best friends in the next week if you want to coordinative.

Still no kanga for me and I'm running out of chances. I don't know anyone who plays so can't even trade for one. I'm really hoping gen 4 comes soon as I'm starting to get a bit bored now. All I have to aim for at the moment (apart from kanga) is level 40 and that's not really that exciting.

I did think of wailmer but not many about at the mo... few ponyta though!

Ponyta are good because they don’t move around much. I did the Mew quest during the last Kanto event and got 7 out of the 10 great throws on one Ponyta!

Question - if I hang on to the Spinda task until after the changeover, will I get a September Spinda or an October one? Is it task dependent or date dependent, does anyone know?
