And I'd just started 'Walking' Mareep as I am still without an Ampharos. Think I'll switch to someone more deserving.

I've just hatched enough Mareep to evolve to Ampharos, however the possibility of shinies, extra powering up candy and reduced walking distance means it will still be very worthwhile!

Mareep will do for me, although I already have Ampharos and enough candy for another. Shiny mareep, Flaafy and ampharos would be great though. Roll on 15th April.

This coming community day is on my birthday but I'm not excited about mareep. I hatched so many of them in a row from eggs at te start of Gen 2 that I had no idea they were even supposed to be rare until other people started talking about not having them.

I feel personally let down by niantic on my birthday haha.

I guess the shiny will be ok but the best part will be the 4x faster hatching tbh. And also the fact that by then we should have field research tasks to be doing too.

Shame you're not in my city, Eggz, as we have a Mankey nest down the road from us!

I'm going to struggle on the next community day, my diary is rammed. It'll be the tail end of my 10k race, then IL's are coming for lunch.

I'd like more Mareeps. I've hatched a couple recently which are better than the mediocre one I walked for over 300km then held off for evolving for months incase a better one came along.

I'm really looking forward to the quests.

WhatToDo where (roughly) are you to see shiny Magicarps. I live IN a marina and have never seen single one!

Finally got a Lugia at the 5th time of asking. About sodding time.

@DoctorTwo, I nipped out to a Lugia raid yesterday and was stunned to actually catch it, it's my second from only two raids this time round (did three or four fruitless ones first time round). I'm more doing legendary raids for the medal. That one is going to be a long, hard slog as I get to hardly any legendary raids.

Completely with you what. Only ever caught 3 bulbasaur and evolved it into venusaur less than a month before they announced the community day.

Mareep will do nicely though.

I caught 2 Lugias and 1 shiny Lugia! Only my second legendary, never normally find enough people for aids but community days really help.

Eggz the silph road nest atlas is always worth checking to see if there are any in reach if you, though it's not maintained as enthusiastically as it was when gen 2 was fresh out.

Saw a Relicanth shadow at the coast late at night. Couldn't go as DCs in bed and it was pitch black outside.
Then saw a shadow the next day in the evening and went after it but it ran off!
Then it reappeared and I got it.
Not sure who is more relieved me or DH who is getting a bit sick of looking for it
It seems to be Lunatone level of rare and on coasts at night. Not like pesky Mr Mime!
