Minecraft help!

We've bought a second hand xbox360 for the children to play. They want minecraft on it so can someone please explain what the difference between story mode the complete adventure and the xbox 360 edition is as I have no idea, and which would be better to get.

If it's any help, dc ages are 5,5,7 and 9.

Story mode is a story based game in episodes where you can select choices, which the game adapts to. This x box 360 edition is a basic game with no additional modifications (which adds aspects to the game).

It’s the 360 edition you need not story mode, in 360 edition there is endless gameplay but story mode is like a short game based on minecraft.

Thank you both. Like I said, clueless. Was a platform game girl myself. And Dh is more a shoot 'em up type.

Storymode is rubbish according to my 6yo.
Like pp said, get 360 edition.
