I failed to catch flipping Kyogre at 4 raids. I have got 4 Rays already though.

What time is the event?
I don't like such a limited window. I struggle to get out at the weekend. Not that I've managed much of note with the DCs in tow this week anyway.

Three chargers are charged and I’ve got 200 bag spaces and 200 Pokemon spaces; I will be on the street ready to go at 9.59am and be out for the entire three hours

Remember: if you want Dragonite to have the move Draco Meteor, you have to evolve during the event window (or catch a Dragonite). You can’t do it afterwards.

I’ve sadly got a husband who works away all week at home and he doesn’t play Pokemon so I won’t be out tomorrow 😢. I’m trying to think of some excuse to at least nip into town tomorrow morning for half an hour or so!

wartortle That’s a good CP I’d definitely evolve it! Over Level 20 I’m assuming? I’m jealous

I have a 76% Level 35 and an 84% Level 29, so I’m holding out at the moment.

I need 800 Swablu candy (currently have 500) so I can evolve my best Swablu and my shiny Swablu While my shiny Swablu is beautiful, it is only 55% Level 18.

No shiny yet but did get a normal dratini with a 98% IV.

I didn't get any as couldn't go out. I really thought it was yesterday!

I had a shiny spawn just as it ticked over to 1pm - caught it and it's now not showing as shiny

I caught 3 shinies. My first ever!
I'd already got a moderate level of candy so decided to do some evolving and a bit of leveling up.

The shiney Dragonite isn't the best, but respectable. I didn't fancy my odds on waiting out for candy to prioritise a better normal one and evolve him later.

Also got my silver dragon badge.

A year ago, I had a fluke wild capture of a decent dragonite long before I ever got my bronze badge.

I got two shinies, pretty pleased!

Here is my 100% IV swablu and the amazing level one I caught today - I'm tempted to evolve todays because it's so powerful

I have a full dragonite army, now. Evolved 3 during the event, including s very respectable shiny, which I've powered up to catch up with the others and need to sort through a few high level"battle with the best of them" ones, tonight, for a final evolution when I do a lucky egg evolution session, tonight.

Helped that the first two hours were windy. Also caught several beldum and a rather pitiful metang and picked up a couple of 10k eggs.

Got a dragonite with Draco meter, plus a (really rubbish) CP54 shiny. DSS got his shiny on his third catch and I didn't get one all event - until I was driving and my POGO+ picked it up for me!

Also caught three new Pokemon from gen3 which I was pretty pleased about.

Managed to catch a couple of shiny but there were people in our group who caught 7 or 8. Was hoping for 3 so I could have a shiny Dratini, shiny Dragonite and shiny Dragonair but lots of water near here so fingers crossed that it won't be long before I find a third.

Well I’ve had amazing day! My Dragon medal went from a measley 30 to 180 (spent last half hour of event sorting the best Dratini’s to evolve to make sure they had Draco Meteor).

I caught a 98% Dratini and four shiny Dratinis, so I evolved the 98% one, my best shiny to Dragonite and my second best to Dragonair so I have one of each of the shiny family

I caught over 900 Dragonite candy and still have 554, so plenty for powering up.

I also caught a 100% Swablu! So of course I was very happy with and evolved that to Altaria, along with my 100% Wailmer to Wailord.

Oh and I hatched a Pineco and a Treecko, perfect for candies. So now I’m only seven off Forretress and then I only have one more for Gen II to get after that (Scizor).

So yes, very successful day

Wartortle I know the level is high for your 88% one, but a 100% Swablu is amazing and there’s no way I could pass on evolving the 100%.

I didn’t get a single shiny 😢 but did also get 98% dratininso have evolved him and powered him up. Only managed to get out for last hour though as I told hubby I had to go shopping!

I had a thoroughly enjoyable Community day, despite being the only person in our group to not see, let alone catch, a shiny Dratini. I made up for that by being the only one to catch a shiny Swablu. We did 2 Groudon raids and I caught both

I remembered to evolve my best Dratini to Dragonite to get the Draco Meteor, and if I had caught a shiny would've done that one as well.

Before it looks like I stole a bane - it is me wartortle with a slightly different name, I namechanged for something else and my phone wouldn't let me have just wartortle back!

I hatched a wynaut too today and I'm very happy with it :)

Yes my Hoenn dex is now up to 92 so very happy with that

We’ve also decided as a group that unless someone doesn’t have one or desperately wants to do the odd one, we won’t be doing any Groudon or Kyogre raids, because each one adds to their final total and we absolutely want to avoid that!
