I have sooooo loved the equinox event, hatched a 98% larvitar, swoons with happiness

Just hatched my last event 2K and got a Chansey.

Picked up three 10k eggs today. I'm going to need a bloody Pokémon treadmill.

Last 2k event egg got a togepi.

Out of the regular Pokemon left, I am missing Dodrio, Tyrogue, Togetic, Bellossom, Forretress, Scizor and Pupitar.

I have 248 rare candies.

I have worked out it would take 188 candies to complete Gen I and Gen II (bar unreleased legendaries/regionals/not in game) with the exception of Tyrogue; he's the only one left to hatch.

I won't spend all my rare candies on them, but it's nice to know I could

I am instead going to be using my rare candies to power up my best of each legendary.

I don't think we will get all of Gen III but I'd be quite happy if we got a couple of new pokemon or perhaps the chance to get different regionals. Of the fully released pokemon, regionals are all I'm missing.

I bet it’s Pikachu in a hat but a new shiny would be cool.

Other than legendaries or regionals, I think it's only amphoros and feraligator that I'm missing from gen 1 and 2 which I'm working on... gradually!

Im not going to bother wasting rare candies on legendaries.

You can't actually do anything with them. You cant put them in a gym. You can use them for battle but I havent found them much more effective than normal pokemon. I wont bother to buddy them as it is 20k for one candy.

Used correctly, good IV/high CP ones are very powerful in battle so I don't think it's a waste at all.

I personally think it would be a waste to use them on my missing Pokemon; after all, I can always walk them and it's not far at all to get candy for them.

Not only that, but none of the ones I'm missing (bar Scizor) I would actually fight with, and I don't like putting resources into something I won't be bothering with.

But everyone plays the game differently, and that's what makes it fun

I battle a lot an I can't see any need for more powerful Pokémon to battle with. Ive already got enough strong Pokémon to blast through anything they are faced.
Apart from a fully powered up dazzling gleam Blissey which I'm guessing has great IVs I never encounter anything that gives me a problem. Even the Blissey isn't hard to defeat it just takes a little longer than usual.

I'm saving all my rare candy...... (not sure quite what for just yet)

PokemonGo I didn't really mean regular battles; more raids, particularly with level 4s, 5s and EX raids. I dont often come across anything particularly hard, I just prefer to use the best and most powerful Pokemon possible.

I always find Blissey easy to defeat simply because she just requires a good Machamp or two. Job done

Even with raids I am not finding the legendaries are making a big difference. I have some decent ones and I have used them but I don't think they are wildly better than some of my other strong pokemon.

I've got a great team of machops but I love using my strongest tyranitar for blissey. it's nearly fully powered up, it's Ivs are 93 and it has stone edge. I haven't found a blissey that it can't beat easily ........however it's still boring battling super strong blissey s as they take longer to beat than other things. I wouldn't mind as much if I had a super strong one myself - I've got a few but their IVs aren't great - still nice to put in gyms but not as scary as I'd like them to be.

I'm not dissing legendaries but I'm also not going to sink all my resources into them iyswim

Yeah, a Tyrannitar with Stone Edge is a great Blissey counter too.

I am currently planning on using the majority of my rare candies for legendaries, however I have been planning that since the very first legendary was released

I am a notorious hoarder and don't spend any resources easily, so it will be a long time before I decide to spend any of my rare candies. I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up with 1,000 of them and still didn't spend them

@itsoverpeople, my fellow trainers are astonished that my stardust haul is over 1.6 million, I just tell them I'm waiting to power up my best 'Mon. :o

Eyebrows looks like my favourite park has changed to a Manley nest judging by the amount that are showing up on a scammer! Also possible a Gastly- annoyingly, there’s 2 Gastlys there at the moment, plus a Gengar! Which would be an amazing wild capture

I did have a million stardust but that was before legendary raids came in. We're usually a small group so I put some research into working out what my best team was and then threw stardust at it. It's a renewable resource..
