Yes, I know you have to have seen The Herbs in the early 70s to get the title, but meh.

Still no chuffing Mareep from a 2km egg, and a 10km hatched a fucking Sudowoodo. Harumph.

Maybe it was wind. Haven’t seen it today. But was quite odd as seemed to change direction a lot. It almost looked like an invisible thing was running with a trail behind it, but wind makes more sense.

Hello again pokemoners, excited to see the new weather thingymajig. I think those swooshing lines are wind. Have only caught one of the new pokemon though :(

I’ve been out for ages today and did 7 raids, 6 Ho-oh and 1 tyranitar. Got a few of the new Pokemon but still got quite a few to go. Sick of the green rose one already! She was everywhere and doesn’t evolve (well till gen 4 anyway)

It's worth remembering that from WhatToDo's graphic of new 'mon, Zangoose and Plusle are regionals not available in the UK (we have minun and seviper).

VivaLeBeaver Those lines you've described are the wind effects. The swirls around the Pokemon themselves mean they're Pokemon who've appeared because their type is more common during that weather Smile

I've seen most of my 'raid buddies' out and about hunting today, we've all added at least 5 'Mon to the 'Dex. I love seeing shadows and catching new beasts.

Sometimes, after using the go plus, you just shouldn't check the journal.
I bet it had rubbish IVs and would have used up loads of ultra balls and golden razzberries anyway Wink

Been out all day at an attraction with lots of pokestops. Not much gen 3 action though.

Is anyone else really struggling for potions? I hit 20 pokes tops at least today and only got 1 potion. I have around 50 pokemon in a dire need of a potion or a dozen but am getting none from the stops!

dillete, try spinning gyms. As a few posters have said previously, potions are more likely from gyms at the moment than pokestops.

I haven't been on the thread for ages, or so it feels. Haven't been able to pokemon as much lately, had loads on plus it's been too cold or the weather just too awful to go out walking like I would usually do. However, the son and I did pop out on Friday night when I saw shadows, but we were so cold we only got as far as round the corner as after ten minutes we were freezing and couldn't feel our fingers. Sad We did get three new ones though. Managed to get 8 more today when I was out but couldn't get them for DS.

Mine says windy when there’s no wind but a complete white out of snow and lots more snow falling! Don’t think I’ll be out raiding today ⛄️

The hours I now work don't really allow me to do raids or spin gyms as there aren't any on my way to work. Saying that, we did do one raid yesterday and got 2 purple potions which are like a drop in the ocean.

dillite The higher level raid you do, the more potions you will get.

There was a period where raids were giving out far too many potions and not enough of the good stuff (golden razzberries, rare candies, TMs etc.) but they've thankfully fixed the ratio now.

But you do still get all types of potions, and the higher level the raid, the more you'll get. Level one raids hardly give you anything, but battle a legendary and you're sorted!Smile

Yes, I think that is an investment I shall have to make. DS has some, but he's dreadful for losing gloves so has no idea where they are. Hmm

I go for fingerless cycling gloves. My running gloves apparently have a fingerless tip, but my fingers are short and struggle to make the right contact with it.

Good day today. Several newbies, but no groundbreaking specimens. Snow meant the local group stayed on foot and there was a good flurry of raides at a convenient time. I had a go at Ho-Oh, but he evaded me and most of the group. I raided a machamp though. I've hatched a machop, and suddenly got enough candies to evolve another decent machamp from my buddy.
