I hatched a porygon. A fucking porygon. And yes, that candy might come in handy in 10 years time when gen 1000 comes out, but I don't care. I want mareep candy. Or tyranitar.

Congratulations to everyone that has managed to get Entei and other legendaries. I have joined a local pokemon group for legendary raids but nobody ever seems to actually get together. People post raids and ask whether anyone wants to join and that's as far as it gets.

Dillite2 Sorry it wasn't what you wanted

Two of my last 4 10k were Skarmory and Sudowoodo so I feel your pain Dillite2. They've improved the available 'mon a lot, but I think 10k could still do with a bit of tweaking.

Dillite2 there may be another group out there. The Facebook page for the closest city pimps Dischord as "the" option for getting together but if you used that you would think that there were no raids in this suburb.

Hit post too soon. The local group organises itself on Facebook Messenger rather than Dischord and the next town uses Whatsapp.

I went for a 16k/ 10 mile run yesterday and caught 99 pokemon on my go plus. My egg hatches were nothing special, but did gather some unusual one like onyx and totodile, and it's boosted me up to 60 mareep candy for my flaaffy. We've gone 153km together so far!

Hatched a 10k today. Dratini. Not even a particularly good one. Ate chocolate whilst getting over that one.
Thanks for the advice guys re the mareep. I've been looking at IV checkers, hope I'm doing it right. Me and hubby did my(and our) first joint raid today, good fun. Hope you are all having a happy hunting day today and the egg goddess is good to you.

Mrsmomo I would recommend PokeGenie as an IV checker as it's within Pokemon Go's terms and conditions. Some aren't, so you need to be careful!

Mrsmomo No worries It's just someone in our group got a soft ban for using an IV checker that's against the games ToS.

PokeGenie is perfectly fine because you don't have to put in any log in details; it's simply a screenshot.

This might make me sound a bit dense, but why would you get banned for using an IV checker? I assumed that was the whole point of them including appraisals, so we can check how good our 'mon are

cottonwool125 If you use any you can log in for, they send the server request for information to find out your Pokemon's details, but it's a drain on their servers and they struggle to cope with the number of players as it is.

So they've banned IV checkers where you need to input log-in info because it's a drain on their resources.

Using PokeGenie, however, requires only a screenshot and doesn't affect them at all

Also Niantic see the log-in as through a different (not official pogo) app which is restricted to try to stop spoofing. Some spoofing apps used to masquerade as IV checkers before Niantic extended the crackdown to both.

I use Pokefindr, which doesn't need log in details. Just the CP, and how much stardust is required to power up. Then it displays a chart that you can use to see what IV your Pokemon is . Might be a bit more of a faff than a screen shot, but works for me

I am officially calling this 'The Lost Saturday' (or most of it anyway) I'm not sure how many of you know how long you can spend on pokegenie in one go, I CAN tell you all though that it's almost all of a lazy Saturday!!!!!! It was ok though, hubby looked after the kids, that is until I showed him the app....,,,, reluctantly had to step up in parenting mode as he got a bit lost in the genie. Thank you for pointing me in the direction of an afternoons escapism lol. Turns out I have a mish mash of IVs but do have a 96% blissey. Defo looking at my Pokémon differently tonight ;)

I just got my 7 day streak and didn't get an evolution item similarly to a PP, perhaps they've stopped it. Journal pic of items attached, wasn't quite quick enough to get the 7 day streak splash.

I didn't get anything interesting from my 7 day streak either

Also, my Gotcha is now nit connecting. Do you think Niantic are on to them. If so then .....bugger!
