Whoops sorry, meant to also say thanks for the sympathy.

I've definitely been loving the gyms more now, used to all be red and full of strong gyarados around here, so much easier to take one down now and it's good to see them changing colour more often. We also seem to have late night yellows going around all the gyms. I'm still not a fan of the coin limit as it's Sod's law all my Pokemon get knocked out on the same day but I'm probably getting more coins on the whole at least.

Oh wow, how unlucky BlooBagoo. If it's any consolation I got a Spinarak from a 2km egg, which was a bit underwhelming.

My last Spinarak from an egg was 100% IV which was a great surprise.

Bloo- do you know that Pichu can be shiny and evolves into shiny Pikachu?

Hatched natu,, elekid, pinsir, omanyte, slowpoke and pineco yesterday.

Pinsir was a new one for the Dex. Could probably have doe without the Natu which was a disappointment.

I got a spinarek from an egg at the weekend. Underwhelming doesn't quite cover it.

Yay! Both Snorlaxs returned 15mins either side of midnight 64coins for meeeeeeee! New incubator bought now too. Got 1 2km egg and the rest are 5s... borrrrrrribg!! Just put a 5km in from 15th august, need to clear them out!

Got my 7 day streak today, but I can't figure out which special item I got from it - can't remember what I had before to be honest. Still not got a kings rock to evolve my slowpoke though.

I might go out and find a raid later - fancy doing something crap / easy

Hatched a 10km today- another Porygon better IV than my previous one too. Now on 35 candies, so hopefully one more hatch and I'll be able to get Porygon 2!

Hatched a 2km and 2 5km too- Krabby, Drowzee and Mantine. Very underwhelming especially as I walked around the block twice more to get them to hatch

Got a snorlax from a 10k yesterday and was disappointed with igglybuff and non-shiny Pichu from 2ks. The 5k have all been dross recently

Anyone else having weird stuff with Ash hat Pikachus and Pichus. I thought I had accidentally evolved my only hat Pichu but today I have another there. But all the Pikachus have vanished. I was sure I had one or two still and I just traded a normal one in and I'm worried it may have been the hat one. :/

My journal only shows balls, berries, eggs and potions.

I think the pichu/pika displaying as hatted or none hatted is part of the display glitch, I've no hatted pichu but some of mine show as them each time I open my pokemon

MummySparkle That's strange; it should show your evolution item too.

BlooBagoo They've only recently been added. They're darker I've attached a couple of pictures of the difference between normal and shiny Pichu's and Pikachu's.

Was it definitely your 7 day streak mummysparkle? Only because my streaks seem to have somehow desynced and a couple of times I've thought it was my 7 day stop streak but it was only the pokemon one.

Thanks What. The Pichus look quite similar but I guess you'd know the difference seeing them in front of you. None of mine seem to be but I've had nothing but Pichus from the 2ks I've had recently it seems so that's annoying I didn't get one then LOL.

Just hope I have my hat Pikachu when it's all sorted out, not trading in any of them until I know things are sorted. Not had any display issues with any of my other Pokemon which makes it even more annoying. If they keep doing all the different hats then I'll need extra storage just for them. Haha.

Been out today and hatched one of the 5ks, got another Ponyta so seems I'm having better luck with 2s and 5s than the 10s. Typical!

So many 5k eggs, but also the sads looking at where they came from on luffly summer hols. Sigh.

So I hatched a mareep today, lots of lovely Candy to evolve it. Dilemma is, I caught one before with higher cp and hp but it's got tackle and body slam. Egg one has tackle and discharge. Which one should I evolve?

The movesets change when you evolve it anyway so would go with the high IV one

Mrsmomo Never evolve based on movesets because they change when you evolve them.

Go with the one with the best IVs, as long as its CP isn't too low.

If you haven't got enough for it's final form though (Ampharos) I would wait until you do, so you get the best Mareep possible.

Ampharos is the best electric in the game behind Zapdos at the moment so you want the best one possible!

I finally got Entei today, so with all Legendaries currently released and some new Pokemon added, my Gen I and II lists look like this

I may have actually squealed in public when my 10k hatched to reveal a beautiful chansey :)

I also have a complete living dex as I'd caught Blissey earlier which is nice, given it's taken me this long to hatch my first chansey I'd probably have a long wait for a second if I'd had to evolve!
