I caught a ditto this morning. Quite a weak one.

There were plenty of spaces in the gyms this morning so I put one of my better dittos in for fun.

A dog walker commented that he hadn't seen me hanging around the woods much for a while and asked if I was back because of the school run.

I hatched 2 10km eggs today, a Dratini and a Mareep. I have now caught one wild Mareep (I think it was livid rather than wild) and hatched two and have 64 candy. I'm waiting for a double XP event as I think I'll be able to evolve 6 new 'Mon.

I caught a Wartortle, the first one I've seen in the wild.

I want more 10km eggs...

I'm really struggling with 10km eggs, haven't had any for weeks. Is there any science behind it or is it potluck?

I've been burning through my 2km eggs (hatched loads of Woopers and Poliwags, two Pichus, a Ghastly, a Diglett and a Geodude I think) in the hope that if I have room for an egg it might be a 10km one. Not worked so far...

Atrium - at least you've been getting 2km eggs to power through. I now have 6 eggs and they're all 5km. Waiting for someone to kick Snorlax out of the gym so I can buy another incubator

I have 9 5km eggs. Hoping I might get a 2km one soon.

Should have managed to hatch a couple today, but was being lazy and couldn't be arsed to go for a walk after work.

Hopefully weather will be better tomorrow. I need to get rid of some of these eggs.

There's a 36.51% chance of a 2km egg, 51.11% chance of a 5km egg and a 12.38% chance of a 10km egg.

They do now, and you can no longer hatch Gen I starters from eggs.

I was posting that chart to show the percentage of getting each egg from a stop, not really taking note of the fact that egg hatches themselves had been changed recently

Grrrr I had pokemon in quite a few of the local gyms all day and some bugger has just gone around and chucked them all out. I REALLY wouldn't mind but they chucked the last one out at 11.58 . If they had just waited two mins I would have got my coins for today.

Anyway, I'm just off to do some grudge gyming.

I'm declaring war.

The town is basically 99% Mystic and before the gym changes it was completely static. With the gym changes Mystic need players like me otherwise their pokemon would pointlessly languish in the gyms and not provide them with any coins.

Im mystic and it seems that there's definitely more mystic than anything else around here. Annoying because if the gym is full there's nothing I can do. The gym near-ish to a school in the town I work has stagnated. It used to switch out every day at about 3:30, but after the summer holidays PoGo is clearly not cool

There's a gym in a pub on my drive home. That is always yellow. Every now and then I'll take it down and get maybe 10coins if I'm lucky before they take it back. Last time he was out before I'd spun the gym stop. I tried to fight again but there were three back in there so I gave up.

Mystic and Valor are both very active in my town. We fight a lot I think we (Mystic) have slightly more players, though.

And we only have a few (less than 10) Instinct players.

I'm back and I've successfully painted the town red again 😂 None of my DC (adults!) would come with me so it was just me and my podcasts .
I think it works to my advantage being one of the few valor players in town. It means I get to take down all the Mystic gyms all by myself which is both fun and good for my XP. I guess it's one of the reasons I'm a higher level than everyone else ☺️

The Mystic gyms are full of high level pokemon but nothing that puts up too much of a fight especially if they are a bit demotivated.

The town used to be dominated by instinct players all who had suspiciously similar names 🤔 and all of whom were either invisible or spoofers..... one day they all disappeared curtesy of a banwave I presume 😁. Happy days...

All three are fairly active here and most gyms will change hands once a day. Which is good for making sure you get 50 coins a day.

On a annual leave today so am aiming to get lots of pokemoning in.

I'm one of the few Valor members in my town too PokemonGo. Love the new gym system, so glad the days of the Blissey towers are gone. I leave early for work and walk a longer route so that I can paint the town red.

I'm finding the game really glitchy at the moment. It seems to error out when I'm close to taking down a gym.
Lots of active players for such a stormy day. My mon got 2 coins and 1 coin! But one still in so will get more than 3 coins today.

Caught a Dratini in town too and needed the candy so that's a bonus.

Mystic and Valor are about equal here too but there are two pairs of yellows who drive round the entire city at about 10/11pm each night knocking everyone out. The 18 month old is teething so a couple of times recently I've taken him for a walk after they've been round and reclaimed the ones near me in revenge. (Normally if the same people are in two I'd only take out so they'd still get coins)

Same, bloo! Gutted since I'd been waiting for a 10km egg for what feels like months. Back to a full stack of 5kms now.

I'm Mystic in a Mystic neighbourhood. The new gym structure works much better here than the old one as I struggled to get my pokemon into the gyms as I didn't level up much before last September then spent months on catchup. Last autumn one of the gyms barely changed in the best part of two months. Now, trainer level matters less although being on L33 is respectable, and it is easier for the sporadic Instinct and Valours to battle and get a turn.

I ran nearly 5k round the woods today gathering up 50 red balls on the go plus. I seem to have struggled to keep a good stock on them recently. I've had to dump lots of potions and revives to make space as I didn't have the need for 125 revives plus 60 max revives. I've had a daft number of max potions building up too. My blue and yellow ball stocks are healthy. I just seem to have struggled with the drop rate of red balls to supply the go plus.

I knew you guys would understand. Back to a bunch of 5k eggs here too.

I've had quite the run of Pichus from 2k eggs recently so decided to evolve one for the XP, chose the wrong one - the only one I had with an Ash hat. Only realised when it was too late. Good thing I've been out in public both times so I didn't stand there crying and/or swearing.
