Weather is pants today where we are was hoping to get out and about to finish off my eggs (1 2km, 3 5km and 1 10km), that could have hatched if I did a lot of walking, and hit up some easy raids to get some XP. Looks like that'll have to wait until tomorrow

MummySparkle Yep, cottonwool125 is 100% right! Tyrannitar is god-Level of Pokemon so you absolutely want the best possible one you can get.

LBOCS2 I know, I get so impatient too! Have to try to ignore them when I'm doing a lucky egg evolve session, knowing there's Pokemon to evolve that I don't yet have on the dex

I have three Tyrannitars but I got them all from raids; any candy I get goes to powering up my best one. As a consequence, I don't have a Pupitar yet

Dragonite took me ages to get but he was well worth the wait. Ampharos, second best electric in the game after Zapdos, I managed to hatch two Mareeps during the double event to get him.

I have all of Gen I bar Dodrio, which I'm walking. (Though I don't have Tauros or Farfetch'd as they're regionals, nor Mew or Mewtwo as they've not yet been released.)

I've only got 7 regular Pokemon out of Gen II to get as well, so I'm not doing too badly

That's why I'm hoping it'll be Spring before Gen III hits, because for those who haven't finished Gen I and II by then, the release of Gen III will make it so much harder to complete previous pokedex's.

I'm miles off a Tyranitar and an Ampharos - but I caught my Dragonite which was a bit of a touch. It has been a bit annoying that the legendaries and raids have all come out over the summer holidays as DD1 is not very tolerant of wandering about while I play on my phone and too young to play it herself, whereas DD2 is still in her buggy and really portable, so I could have done a lot more if I only had her to cart about.

LBOCS2 How good is the Dragonite you caught?

I still need to get 18 more Pokemon for my Gen 1 dex...that's excluding all of the legendaries and regionals, which I have none of (bar Mr Mime)

I'm on 196 caught currently. I said I wanted to get to 200 by the end of the summer, so I got reasonably close! I think I started July on 180 so haven't done too badly

Not great, What, but it filled a hole in my 'dex. Annoyingly it was before I battled so I just powered it up and wasted a lot of candies that way; if I'd realised that the IV would start mattering to me then I might have saved it a bit longer. I've completed my gen 1, so it has contributed to that, at least!

LBOCS2 Yeah, I was curious because wild Pokemon (particularly rare ones like Dragonite) rarely have good appraisals. Shame about the wasted candy and dust

I bizarrely got Ampharos after hatching 3 Mareep plus candy in succession so hardly did anything to get it. Dragonite took ages. Tyranitar is a long way off.

I've only got Togetic, Tyranitar, Feraligator and Blissey to get now. My Chancey is rubbish though (wild catch) so leaving that to last in hope of getting a better one.

I'm quite proud of my rubbish pokemon though. I have a 100CP Snorlax with an awful appraisal which is my only one but I love it

I had a 129cp lapras for ages! It was a wild catch from ASDA of all places - made me giggle! Was near the frozen aisles too

I'm still 7 away from completing gen I and that's not including regionals and legendaries. I need:

Alakazam
Chansey
Omastar
Dragonite

I'm maybe halfway through genII It's going to take me forever.

Except for regionals and unreleased, the only pokemon I don't have is chansey. So frustrating to be one away :)

I really need a bloody metal coat but I've got my 5th kings to me today. That's ontop of the 5 sunstones and 4 dragon stones

I've got all my Gen1 and Gen2 plus Taurus and Kangstan but not the other regionals. Taurus was from a trip to the states.

I got everything just before I started using discord/scanners (and cash) last week so I consider them 'honest' gains.

I have to admit that using scanners is a different way of playing but still a LOT of fun. I'm not sure when the novelty will wear off. I keep having to nip out for a quick drive or bike ride 😂

Just checked the IVs for my crap Lapras, he's got less cp that I remember, but the IVs are pretty good... I dread to think how many candies I'd need to power him up though!

MummySparkle PokeGenie tells you that too! Scroll down to the bottom to "Power Up and Evolution" and it tells you the amount of candy and dust it will take

I really wouldn't power that one up, though! The cost would be enourmous!
