Just had a look at the London map and there's lots of Unown- definitely taking trips now.

Oooh, I'm Glasgow on the 14th, I have about 3 hours free time there, that would be awesome if I'd catch a Kangastan and/or Unown.

Someone on my fb Pokémon group is in Glasgow this morning and already caught 4 kangaskans and loads of unowns. I'm taking the kids through today - will report back later

How long are the going to be available in these cities? I'm going to Manchester.... in 3 weeks 😩

I'm starting to wonder why I bother playing this game as a fairly rural player! No legendaries, no city within a 3 hour drive which has these Unown etc.

It's just lucky that I need to be in Glasgow during this time (if you can call it lucky having to go on a 3 hour train ride each way just to get your thyroid biopsied) or I would feel even more frustrated. I better catch a Kangastan or an unown while I'm there or I give up/

Oooh I'm in Rome from 11th to 14th so I might have some luck with them. Only just got my repaired phone back so haven't been able to do any raids yet. At work today so still no chance. Hopefully tomorrow will have lots.

I'm lucky I live just outside of the the towns and work in the town (but not the town centre). Also have a good active Facebook raid group so have been able to catch legendaries

My DH just returned from a walk with the baby and told me he'd caught an "angry looking kangaroo and a black thing" I didn't know about the event and told him that the former weren't available in Europe... checked his phone and had to apologise
He's just taken her back out and refused to take my phone with him haha!

Woke up to find a Kangaskhan in my bedroom. That was a surprise! I ran to catch my first unown on Tuesday and now they're all over the place. I think it's a bit rubbish that it's only in cities though. I've joined my local Facebook group and been to two raids. Luckily it's a closed group so none of my grown up friends can see that I'm playing!

Apparently the Unown spell EUROPE. Can anyone on here confirm? Shame that they didn't go for EUROPA as the word so we could get that extra A.

They are saying they spell Europe in the Facebook group. I haven't seen one yet though but will be working in London in the week.

I'm thinking of going to London tomorrow and 5 Unown is a much kinder goal than 26.

We got pounded in a lugia raid, today. Dozens of people around but ended up in a group with people using some really crap Pokemon.

And the logistics of that day trip don't work for us, sadly. It would have been Manchester or Glasgow.

When you catch an Unown, you have a greater chance of the next Unown you see being the same Unown as the last one you caught. So it's very hard to get different ones.

Unown right outside of my house! I may have cheered i live in Birmingham, about 3 miles from city centre so the range does seem wide.

I'm off into town tomorrow. So jealous of my raid friends all heading int here now but I can't go today

They do however seem to be around where I work so might catch more in the week or are they only spawning at weekends?
