It looked like a new thread was needed, so here it is, all shiny and pristine.

As for incubators, I think they're the only thing worth spending coins on! Sure, you get a lot of crap, but it's totally worth it for the good ones you get every so often.

Currently?

I think Aerodactyl (which haven't been too rare in tie wild for me), Lapras and Snorlax (still don't have one) plus miltank from gen 2.

Dratiniand larvitar seem roughly equivalent, though apparently dratini is rarer, now, so less scope to ad to the awesome dragonite population - still not fully powered up my first one!

Oh, and mareep. DS1 finally caught one, the other weekend, but it never spawned for me - bad timing as we were in a moving vehicle.

Given the vastly enhance likelihood of hatching a crap unevolvable over a good one, or even a good evolvable, I'm now happy to stick the 10K eggs in my free incubators, only.

And I don't use an IV calculator. You need strong or can battle with the best (or you team's equivalent), the best stats I've ever seen and some superlative of big, massive, enormous etc.

Attack and defense only useful if both are great and for tyrogue.

I'm level 22 so don't have a lot of high cp Pokemon. Tried a couple of gyms this morning and I managed to take one down! I only lasted about 30mins in there but was great fun seeing the different fighting moves.

My new Pokemon today was a Voltorb

Hatched a Tyrogue and a Mareep in the last couple of days. Is there a way to tell what a tyrogue will evolve into?

HandbagKrabby Yes. It will turn into:

Hitmonlee if its Attack is higher than its Defence.

Hitmonchan if its Defence is higher than its Attack.

Hitmontop if its Attack and Defence are the same.

First 10km egg- my first ever larvitar! Very happy about that

Haven't been out and about and done nearly as much walking as I would like lately, as DSs pushchair was left at my mums and haven't had a chance to get it back yet! Hopefully will tonight, and will be going to a park tomorrow in a local city, which is a common location for Magmar spawn, which I haven't got.

Looking forward to the upcoming event- may finally get my charmeleon and charizard!

Last 3 10k eggs .....2 Gligars and a fucking Chansey.

I'm desperate for a houndour, haven't seen one in the wild at all.

Very pleased today to finally catch a shiny Magikarp and I had enough candy to evolve it so I now have two Gyrados, one red and one blue. Levelled up to 31 today too so it's all been positive! Excited about upcoming event, hope rain stays away so I can explore.

Another fucking gligor. I think I've pretty much had it with the game.

I've been unable to play since about 2pm. At first I thought it might be me running out of data but I can't log in via wireless fireless either. onstantly getting "unable to authenticate: please try again" is bloody annoying after the 30th time.

It's been quite glitchy today. My plus has been cooperating though, so that's added some distance on. Last egg was Tangela (my 3rd). Nearly enough coins for an incubator.

I've run out of blue incubators and actually hatched a Chansey, today!

A Lapras is on my nearby list, but DS has just gone down for a nap! never hatched one before, let alone seen a wild one.

cottonwool125 Unlucky! I saw a wild Lapras for the first time last week and managed to catch it. I'd never hatched one either so I was very chuffed!

Managed to stumble across a Teddiursa nest this morning, so managed to evolve an Ursaring. Another new one onto the dex!

cottonwool125 I was! Just walking along the high street and it just appeared! Not on the radar or anything.

Oh I love Teddiursa I have one Ursaring but it's not great so waiting for another one.

My Dragonite was a random find on my birthday a few months back. I've only ever caught/ hatched/ evolved 5 dragon types in total. Not even a bronze badge!

I hope I can get in a second gym in the morning. It's spent the day nicely under L9 without needing all day to battle it. If I can get 20 coins tomorrow, that's an incubator.

DS (4) was chuffed to get the silver steel type badge inadvertently when he caught a magnemite

I got my first tyrogue today!

That was a pleasantly varied walk. Particularly pleased with a CP1200 Hitmonlee which can replace my ancient weakling of CP488 who was on the pathetic side back in November when I was still in the teens.

Also got back into a second gym, so now have a 10k egg incubating. Now I'm on L31, I can get into a middling position in the gyms.

What are all the extra poke stops for?
