It looked like a new thread was needed, so here it is, all shiny and pristine.

Really hoping for plenty of Cyndaquil, it's the only starter in either Gen that I don't even have the second stage for (ie the first evolution).

Why do they always do an event after I've walked something for ages? I did think after been walking Charmander that I bet the next event is fire same happened with Bulbasaur.
Ah well law of sod. And I do love an event anyway

Does anyone else only seem to be getting mantines from 10k eggs? It's so frustrating!

I haven't had a 10k egg since the water event. Picked up two then, and yep, both mantines. Never going to get a lapras :(

Caught enough ponyta to evolve one and just need a few more totodiles for feryligatr! The leaked event sounds good, I'm about 4 charmanders short of a charizard.

I had a sudowoodo from my 10k egg.. they're few and far between, but the last one that hatched gave me a chansey, which I didn't have, so well-pleased with that one.

I'm a Mantine magnet too. 😭

10k should only have good stuff like Snorlax, Larvitar etc not crap like Pineco, Mantine and Gligar 😡 Mantine spawned during the Water Event so should have been axed after it,

True, or a least for a month or so.

I saw a shadow of a larvitar once during the Rock event and the. Pokemon Go crashed and wouldn't reopen untill the larvitar had fled.

The work placement I was at today forgot to cancel me, so I got paid for doing nowt today. Well, a couple of hours spent hunting and an hour in the pub. I'm now only 45kXP from Level 31 and must start learning how to battle in gyms to keep the game interesting.

I haven't had a 10k egg for ages..Got one today will let you know.

Not much happening here. Not got much more than the daily bonuses. Po Go plus been uncooperative at connecting.

Reviewed my candies. Not ready for a lucky egg evolution yet as quite a few are just under the amount of candy needed. Did evolve a number of pidgies to make space, I'll be ready when they've built up again.

Re-evolved Rhydon would be bloody lethal. Rhydon is already a bit of a battling stalwart.

I've had 4 10K eggs in the past week. 2 gligar, a skarmory and a soddingwoody. I am not spending any more coins on incubators. It's just not worth it.

High CP rhyhorn caught in the wild are almost always crap. Even after the rock even, where, despite not being able to get out and walk due to worryingly sick kids, i caught plenty at home, i still never caught one of a reasonable CP that had the potential to be one of the CP 3000 Rhydon I encounter so many of.

Only really need a few more cyndaquil from this event. Have changed my buddy from the default Quilava to Larvitar, in anticipation. Might put my chansey back on, after that, to help power up my blissey.

Need to go train m magikarp - DS1 is way ahead of me in that game! I can only play catchup when he's in bed!

And Rhydon turns into Rhyperior in Gen 4 when traded if it's holding a Protector. So I'm not sure how they'll incorporate that into Pokemon Go.

As for incubators, I think they're the only thing worth spending coins on! Sure, you get a lot of crap, but it's totally worth it for the good ones you get every so often.

Finally got a new phone so I can now play again.

Abbey that happens to me too. Spent ages walking bulbasaur to get enough candy to evolve Ivysaur only for the park at the end of the rd to become a bulbasaur best the next day.

Annoyingly passed an empty gym on the bus this morning. Only for the wifi to give up just as I got close enough to put something in it. Bet it isn't still empty tomorrow.

I was lucky enough to catch two Rhyhorns over 1200 Cp, both of which were wonders. They're now my highest level Pokemon!

When it comes to evolving do you evolve the highest CP Pokemon or do you go by the IV?

Soubriquet I use the app Poke Genie to find the best IV.

This is my highest CP Pokemon but it can be powered up further now I've just gone up to Level 27; I just haven't the Rhydon candy unfortunately

I used to use an IV app but a few on my Facebook group have been banned for using IV Go (which you log in to) and as I'm now nearly level 30 I don't want to risk it.

AbbeyRoadCrossing Yeah, the ones where you have to log in with your account are the cheat ones.

Poke Genie doesn't require any log in info and is therefore safe and fine to use.

You don't need an IV checker. Just get it evaluated in game and learn the phrases that tell you which ones have the best stats.

If they mention all 3 stats with the phrases that say that you have the strongest Pokémon, then you have perfect stats.

Kpo58 Yeah, that's nowhere near enough exact so I'll be sticking with the app.

I am going to stop wasting blue incubators. i only use them for 10k eggs but the last 3 have been pineco skarmory and Gligar which are fucking every where.
