It looked like a new thread was needed, so here it is, all shiny and pristine.

I just googled to see if I had all the babies (I don't, I'm missing elekid and tyrogue) but I did see gen2 babies!!

Wonder if they will be released.

Those aren't Gen 2 babies, Soubriquet. They're a mix of Gen 3 and Gen 4.

The Gen 2 babies have already been released.

How long is everyone planning on playing for? I've just got to walk my charms set and finally find a flipping Chansey and I've got gen 1. I can get the rest of gen 2 by walking to Turkey and back.

Dh asked last night when I was going to stop suggesting we go for walks every weekend and then spend the whole time dicking around on my phone. He's got a point. I know if I'm still playing when gen 3 is released I'll keep going for ever!

The one thing my DS wishes he'd known from the start - when you transfer something to the Professor, YOU CAN'T GET IT BACK!! He did the trick to get Pikachu as his starter, got to level 5 and then transferred it thinking he was evolving it into a Raichu. There were tears. Lots of tears. In front of his mates. He had to start again to get another Pikachu and he still mutters about it. (He's only 10).

Look who I saw in the street today! I was walking along, thinking 'oh look at all this rubbish' and WAHEY! There's a friggin Lapras in with them!

I've never seen or hatched a Lapras before so it's my first so I'm well chuffed I'll never be able to fight with it, I'm just glad I have it for my dex!

@spiderlight I did similar just now with a lucky egg... transferred three pidgeys when I meant to evolve them. Not as serious but so easily done!

Dh asked last night when I was going to stop suggesting we go for walks every weekend and then spend the whole time dicking around on my phone. He's got a point. You need a GoPlus Cheesy, then you can just click away at the button and hold a conversation (just don't ever check your journal in case a Dragonite ran away or something ).

I'll probably just GoPlus for a few days, I'm a bit played out from the event, and can't face catchng boring Spinaraks and the rest.

I need 19 candys for Tyranitar, which is a real boost from before the event, but it's still going to feel like a slog after the 4 x buddy candy.

However I have a 10k egg from the event that I have high hopes for, I'm sure it has a teeny Larvitar curled up inside with a whole bunch of candy

Go Plus is brilliant for dull candy fodder!

I like walking and running anyway, so playing does give me a bit more motivation to go out, especially over the winter.

I still need 28 candies to evolve totodile twice. I loved getting a candy every 750m now 3km feels so laborious.

I saw another totodile shadow but too far to go after.

I need 125 candies to do both evolutions and am up to 97-98

After doing a lucky egg evolve on all the slugma and geodudes I got during the event today, every time I looked at the game and saw myself surrounded by pidgeys and shelldar and marills, I just thought 'why am I even bothering'.

I am honestly not sure I can be arsed with it for much longer. I never see anything rare, all the egg hatches are shit and having just hit level 32 I now have to get 750,000 points to earn a handful of potions and a few balls when levelling up to 33.

Pokemon fatigue.

I'm with you Penguin - I'm still playing but my DSs stopped a few weeks ago as it's boring now!

The higher level up rewards are rubbish!

When is gen 3 launching?

I'd guess after July (legendaries)

I don't have loads to get. I am on level 31 and have 150k so miles away from the next level. I am on 5 level 10 gyms so collect those coins every day have about 1000 coins. I have evolved all the special items required.

I did enjoy the events but now they have gone not sure I can be bothered.I was disappointed though what I really needed was a lavitair and only saw one the whole event. I have considered having a break till next event. I think the pokestop bonus keeps me hooked in. We will often nip out simply to do a pokestop a day.

I was a bit bored the week before adventure week and did a minimum. Also the weather was terrible and I'd lost the po go plus. The original hasn't turned up.

It seems a bit silly to have hundreds of creatures at your disposal but only have ten or so that people can catch regularly. As the majority don't make any difference in the gyms anyway I don't see why it would hurt for a wider range of Pokémon to spawn. The biomes thing doesn't work imho as for as far as I can see, everywhere I've been in the uk so far is grass biome or water on the coast. I think the nests are a good idea, it would be nice if the nests spawned Pokémon that are not already abundant in the area. It's such a good idea, I just wish the execution was a bit better :)

I don't think they'll launch Gen 3 until next spring. No point launching it over the winter as fewer people will play due to the weather even with the new ones.

Plus they've said they're focusing more on the mechanics of the game rather than the next gen.

Hello! Wonder if I could join your thread? Have been observing and learning tips for a while so thought it was about time I said hello

I'm only on level 20- I started playing when the game first came out, but stopped for a while a few months later. I happened to play again on the day adventure week started so managed to jump up quite a few levels and add a lot to the pokedex last week

I got my first 10km egg last night so I'm currently walking that- hatched a bloody Krabby from my 2km egg today they're everywhere around where I live, was hoping for a charmander!

Only have about 110 registered in the pokedex so just looking for some variety of Pokemon to catch to make it a bit more exciting! Has got me out walking a lot though which is always a bonus in this weather.

Managed to catch an Aerodactyl last week too- where I work is a hot spot for quite a lot of good Pokémon. I also caught a wild Donphan which I was really pleased at!

I'm thoroughly enjoying reading what you've all been catching and hatching!
