It looked like a new thread was needed, so here it is, all shiny and pristine.

Caught an aerodactyl today!

But I'm even more chuffed that I managed to evolve a wonder Rhyhorn at over 1200CP. I powered it up after evolving to a Rhydon and it's now my best Pokemon at 2547!

Soubriquet Nice! I have 90 kabuto candy but I'm waiting to the end of the event to get the best one possible.

Oddly I had enough candy to evolve Kabutops really early on, think I only hatched two and that gave me enough candy. Still don't have an Onyx but got lots of Slugma and Geodudes using incense.

Evolved an omastar and nearly have enough geodude candy for a golem! Also hatched a larvitar today which was exciting! I'm fairly sure I picked up the egg since the event began so hopefully that bodes well for others that would like one too! :)

Caught 3 Onyx today which I'm chuffed about as I only had 1 which I'd hatched before.

Has anyone seen any sign of larvitar? Was hoping for a few this event but it's mostly Slugma and Geodudes round here.

I got a Larvitar a few weeks ago, in a graveyard.

Thankfully I hatched a high CP wonder Larvitar a while back so when I can finally evolve it, it will be a great Tyrannitar.

I have hatched 3 Larvitars. I've evolved to Pupitar and now walking to be able to evolve to Tyrannitar.

I'm loving the event. Evolved a Golem, Omastar and a Steelix today. I need to catch one more Kabuto to evolve it.

DD1 left her cat toy at a zoo today so we'll probably have to go back tomorrow. What a shame (gazillion poke stops here I come).

Hoping for a Larvitar some time soon.

I wouldn't put too much sweat into evolving Onix. Steelix isn't quite as disappointing as Scizor, but isn't much better. Intimidting in a gym, though. It just flattens your poor mon with it's big 'eed over and over again!

I hatched a 4th larvitar, this morning. Definitely picked up the egg before the event started, since today was the first time I got out of the house for more than a few minutes since Wednesday! Have 65 larvitar candy and already have a pupitar, so might spend a couple of days walking one of them - currently walking a chansey, as I don't actually have a blissey, yet and I've only ever hatched one.

I just like filling holes in my 'dex, not too bothered about gyms. The gyms here are so static that there is no point.

I do sometimes bring one down but it's swiped back and full off blissys by the morning. I swear these people don't sleep.

My DH has had a Tyrannitar for a while now as he was very lucky and hatched 5 Larvitars in a row!

DameDeDoubtance If you don't gym, what do you do about incubators? That's all I spend my coins on that I get from gyms (with the few exceptions when I've bought storage space).

Our town is split in half; half red gyms, half blue gyms. Every so often yellow manage to take one, but they never keep it.

My biggest source of poke coins is doing google opinion rewards. More of a slog now it's a fiver for a decent bag of coins, mind!

I buy the odd incubator, but only for 10K eggs - and I'm even less inclined to buy them for that now that there are so many unevolvables in 10k eggs. I spend the most coins on lucky eggs.

No Aerodactyl or Larvitars

Loads of slugmas and geodudes here. I want to catch some onyx so I can evolve a steelix but I've only seen them in the distance so far.

I levelled up to 32 today. Just 750000 to get to 33. 😩

PickAChew How do you get coins from doing the opinion rewards? I've not heard of that before.

You don't have to pay, do you? I get enough from gyms to never need to pay, but if you can get coins for free in other ways, I won't turn it down! The more incubators the better.

I'm taking advantage of the event to buddy my scythar as it's the only one of the special item evolves I haven't had enough candy to do.

Also picked up a shitload of onix, geodudes and rhyhorn. It's slightly annoying as I walked that bloody kabuto for what felt like 17 years to evolve it because I never saw one anywhere but such is life.
