I hatched two 10km eggs yesterday. Sudowoodo and Mantine. Harumph. I caught a wild Lapras, I'll try to post a screenshot.

Got a stantler from a 5km egg today.

Saw a new shadow come up. Looked like a sting ray type but I couldn't go out to it as I feel poorly.

I've got about 40 to evolve if I walk the length and breadth of Britain and 70 to catch inc all the good gym ones. I understand better/ rarer Pokémon are hard to get but as a casual player one good one a week wouldn't hurt. It would still take someone like me over a year to complete the pokedex so wouldn't make it too easy or anything.

I've still got a gap for Ivysaur. I'm putting off walking up many, many miles of candy as hopefully I can catch up on an event. Particularly after walking my ruddy Charmander for nearly 60k up to 97 candies then getting an egg hatch with lots of candy during the Easter event.

Done a mass evolution today. Chickorita has been upgraded as has Phanpy and Skiploom. Plus loads of Pidgeys.

I went for a walk this evening especially to hatch a 5k egg - and it was a sodding Natu - such a disappointment. I did get enough candy to do a massive evolve with a lucky egg, nothing new but I did evolve a much better Donphan than the one I'd previously caught.

HandbagCrab While it's a shame for you, I'm really thankful the game doesn't work that way and is engineered towards being a better player with better Pokemon the more you play.

'One good one a week' just isn't feasible - that's not how the mechanics work.

Big news here - for the first time ever (outside of lures and the starter Pokémon) a Pokémon spawned in my house.

It was a Ledyba. Am watching my phone intently now to see if it was a freak gps-drift induced accident, or if more Pokémon will come.

Got to be worth a try Mouse! I have a spawn in my house every hour. It's pretty varied and I've caught a few rares including Blastoise and Golem. I hope you get a house spawn Psammead, it's brilliant. It's the one thing I'm going to miss when we move!

I have a picture of a slugma that spawned on my mum's kitchen table with my mum sitting there next to it. My mum is 83 and a bit averse to all that modern technology stuff, I'm not sure what she made it of it when I showed her all those pokemons spawning all over her house.
I have spawns in my house as well and loads in the office. I have a voltorb or a magnite (they take turns) hovering over my desk at all times.

I get a cluster spawn of at least three pokemon in the house every time I log in. Usually nothing exciting but have had Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Chansey, Onix, Blastoise and lots more 'good' ones pop up randomly in the house, plus thousands of Evees and Mr Mimes. I don't live particularly close to a Pokestop either! Have lots of random photos of the dog looking perplexed with Pokemon on top of him etc.

I have about 4 or 5 spawn points in my house, depending on which way the GPS drifts. Mostly it's crap but I've had a Mistreavous, Gyarados, a Charmeleon and a Weezing - the Gyarados and Charmeleon during events but the others just randomly.

Just had an Electabuzz in the house. Not seen one of those for ages!

Talking of taking photos Igneococcus and others, I have never managed to get a photo. Every time I try turning on AR, it comes up with a message saying that they can't detect my phone's orientation. I've tried turning auto-rotate on my phone on and off, but neither works. Any suggestions?

Off to the coast for a whistle-stop visit later so hoping to find a few unusual monsters while there.

You caught a gyardis fully formed???!! I never see good things like that, it's a laborious candy collection thing. And today's two 10k egg hatches were a sudoowoodoo and a skarmory, both of which I'd caught earlier in the day and which I don't even need the bonus candy for as they don't evolve! The algorithm hates me (level 30, still no snorlax)
