I've used the regional hunter group on Facebook too. They're super efficient and will often pick up a rare or two in addition to your regional

I just don't get what you get out of doing this though. The whole point is the thrill of the chase and the excitement when you finally hatch/find/evolve that Pokemon that you've been wanting for ages. Surely getting one by cheating is boring. It's like fishing in a barrel 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's also really unfair on players like me who don't cheat. Even though I'm a high level it's obvious that my pokemon are inferior to the local cheaters who all seem to have masses of maxed out blisseys etc.
It's annoying. 😡😡😡😡😡

On the Facebook group I'm on many of the cheaters are moaning it's boring because they've caught everything. If they played the game properly they wouldn't have caught everything so soon whilst sat on their bums
As much as I want my Aerodactyl I still want to catch or hatch it myself

I used the Regional Hunter group and I completely agree with you both that I enjoy the thrill of catching, hatching and evolving. I hatched my first Aerodactyl during the Easter event and did a little squeal to myself. However, I know that I will never be able to get the 5 regional ones because I can't afford to go to Australia, America or Asia. I didn't feel like I was missing out on the thrill of getting them myself as I never would have been able to, does that make sense. It's against Niantic's ToS and I expect lots of people to disagree with it. I specifically asked the hunters to not get anything I didn't already have except the regionals. Everything apart from those 5 I have got myself. I'm only Level 26 and don't have masses of high level Pokemon, only 2 over 2000.

I never knew this was a thing. I feel cheated. Even though I will never go to those countries. I don't see the point of having them unless you collect them yourself. It's like having a souvenir to a country you've never been to. Pointless.

I do have souvenirs from countries that I've never been to. People who have visited bring them back as gifts. I don't see that as particularly weird. I don't do gyms really as I don't have much time to battle in them so I'm not fussed about good CP or IV. I just want to collect them all. I have completion issues I think, I'm the same with computer games and sticker books

I'm annoyed! I've been booted out of a level 10 gym that I help build up apx 10 days ago. I wouldn't mind if another team had taken the gym down but it's still level 10 my team. Some people must have skimmed off the bottom 3 (with opposing team accounts) then put their mons in. It feels horrid to know that people from my own team have skimmed my place.

Not necessarily tumpy. They could have given up trying to take down a level 10 gymdue to the time it takes leaving spaces at the bottom free that there were then taken as the gym was built up again. ive given up battling big rival gyms many times.

It may not have been someone deliberately stealing a place.

This happened to me the other week Tumpy. I can see (but not fight) the gym from my house. Someone me kicked me out and immediately replaced me with another trainer in my colour.

I was even more cross because there was less than 1 minute left before I hatched my egg.

I joined the regional hunter groups for a while, but never used it as I like doing it myself, getting someone else to do it misses the point for me. It's a little bit like that with the POGO plus too, makes it almost too easy...but it is great for hitting pokestops without looking like a total idiot walking around constantly looking at your phone! I'm up to seen 12 aerodactyls. They seem to like Edinburgh!

Couldn't find my Pokemon Go for my 10k run this morning though. All those wasted kilometres. Sigh.

Cheesy, if I'd never powered anything up I'd have over 1Mn stardust. As I don't really do gyms I don't need to power up that much.

doctor that's some collection of stardust! I don't really do gyms either but constantly powering them up. I admire your restraint.

Freeniki no unfortunately I can also see the gym from my house so I watch it all the time. I would have noticed if someone had battled it down and left 2/3 slots empty. The gym doesn't get that much activity (which is why it was a great gym to be in). So now I can see it just sat there, level 10, without me in it.

Dannydyer that's even more gutting. At least I had collected my coins for the day. Have you managed to get back in?

Reported my first spoofer today. I trained a gym (in the middle of a park, at the very top of a small but steep hill, you can see for miles) up to level 10, and before I could put my poke in there, a Blissey stole my place. Ridiculous.

I couldn't care less whether people cheat to get Pokémon, or to get regionals, or to check out maps or whatever, but the gyms affect everyone directly.

Anyway. I'm just waiting for dd1 so we can walk the last 100m of our 10km egg. Soooo hoping for something good. Please give us a Snorlax!! Or a Miltank, Chansey, Aerodactyl or even a Dratini! Just no bloody Sudowoodo or Mantine.

My last 2 event eggs were another grimer (i got about 4) and an Onix.

My last event egg was Togepi, second one but still only 15 candy. I walked past a gym as it was being taken down the other day. I'm yellow and it was blue. It turned grey/white so I clicked to put a Pokemon in and it had a message saying 'Battle winners have priority', I don't know how long it lasts though before anyone can put a Pokemon in.

I hatched a Snorlax from a 10 km event egg today. I have another 10 km egg (please, please let it be an aerodactyl) but looking at the storm clouds outside I think it won't be hatched today.

Trash panda they've had that 'fix' on gyms when you take them down for a while. But they really need to introduce something that stops your spot being swiped, as happened to painted. I feel for you Painted that's so annoying when you put in all the hard work of levelling up to level 10. Even worse that it's a spoofer. I'm getting really fed up with the spoofers spoiling gyms.

Trash there is a short window something like 30 seconds, for the winning player to put on the gym..

I hatched a topepi from last 2k event It was my second and only have 19 candy. I have had a 10k and two 2k eggs since the event.

I am not a spoofer but bored of seeing nothing new too. I have caught 211.. I still need 3 candy for my steelix.
