IM getting a lot of dratini which I'm happy about as I finally have enough to wvolve a decent dragonite to replace the rubbishy wild one I caught.

GEN 1 complete! So excited, found a random wild hitmonchan today, just after levelling up a gym. Was in a panic as didn't want to lose my space in the gym, and didn't want to miss her! Happy days, I managed to do both. 😁

Well done Ioc - very jealous as we're level 31 but still need Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan (never had a sniff of either), aerodyctal or dragonite

I caught a 100% iv perfect dratini. only about 470cp. will take me ages to power up and then evolve twice

A more productive afternoon. Took the DCs to a neighbouring city on the tram which travels much of the distance under the speed cap

Some good egg hatches including a few newbies. I should be able to do another lucky egg session tomorrow afternoon and get some new ones including Blissey

Hatched a Sudowoodo out of a 10k egg. It looked so smug when it popped out. Got an Elekid out of a 2k though, which was new to my 'dex, so that's something.

O2 are doing mast work in the area and my signal refuses to work outside the house.

There's really odd stuff going on in local gyms today. One which rarely gets above level 5 and hops teams regularly is now level 10 blue with 8 blisseys on it, and another (which was red level 10 for over a month and impenetrable) went blue, we hopped on at level 4 and within half an hour it was red level 6 but with only a 67cp gastly on it. I guess there are bots at work or GPS spoofers which is so annoying. Presumably there's no way to report that sort of thing?

BumWad how can you tell if a player is a spoofer? I strongly suspect that the 8 blisseys who piled onto one gym in immediate succession were spoofers but is tehre a way of telling?

Equally, if anyone has ever beaten a blissey without timing out - do let me know how!

Oh, happy day, hatched an Aerodactyl from a 2k, it's what I was really hoping for from the event, and the reason I have splurged an unprecedented amount of money on incubators .

I wasn't able to do too much over the bank hols as staying with family in a bit of a rural pokedesert / 4G blackspot. Have walked and hatched my socks off since Monday night, though, dogs are exhausted.

Hatched three event 10k eggs today - Chansey (new! But I hate Blissey, it creeps me out, not sure I want to evolve one) Larvitar (ace, I'm walking my only one, really needed the candies), and Snorlax (great, only had one meh one, this one is a 'wonder' and came with loads of candy).

Apart from Aero, the only new stuff from 2k eggs has been Elekid and Growlith. But got loads of 2 k hatches for things I need candy towards.

Hatched a chikorita from a 5k and still got another 5k incubating.

DD and I still both have 9 eggs each, all in incubators at various stages, we're planning a hatching / spinning walk before school / work tomorrow, and then after work to restock before the event ends. DD is desperate for a Lapras.

I knew someone was a spoofer when I was standing in the middle of a big open field and had just taken down a gym and put one of my pokemon in it. Minute later it was being attacked even though there was no one else in the field. 😡😡😡😡. I took photos and screen shots and reported them.

I think it's ok to report players even if you are not 100% sure as you can just ask for Niantic to double check.

Katy I can take down maxed out blisseys with my 3000 + rhydon with stone edge. My more powerful gyarados's especially those with hydro pump can kill them too. If possible I try and power them up on earlier defenders before I get to the Blissey IYSWIM

I'll attack a gym with a couple of Blisseys but I'd walk on by if there were eight of them 😂

I got a totodile from a 5k egg. New one for me.

I finally got an Onyx! From a 2km egg. I've now completed Gen1 apart from bastarding Chansey which is determined never to be found by me.

Are you going to keep at it to try and complete gen2 Ioc? I promised myself I'd stop once I get all of Gen1 - considering it's taken nearly a year to get a sniff of an onyx I think it's safe to say it'll be a while before I can evolve it. Unless I take up long distance running I suppose.

I've caught 18,950 Pokemon and only caught 4 chansey (seen 6) . They are hard to come by.

So the Go Plus is like a watch you wear. Sounds great but you have to have app switched on in your bag? So it won't last all day at work then or anything like that?

Wow, that is a lot! I've caught 5,500 ish, and seen and caught 4 chanceys. Yes I'll keep going to fill up Gen 2, still a bit to go on that. I just evolved a 100iv dragonite. Good Pokémon go day today! I had an onix nest in my local park which helped, and aerodactyls are not super rare round here, seen 9 caught 7. Luck of the draw I suppose.

I've been playing solidly since the game out but I think it's the go plus that accounts for me having caught so many. Eventhough the flee rate with the go plus is high you still end up catching a lot. I have it in my hand all the time 😂. I'm not sure if I'm proud or slightly embarrassed.

AtSea1979. The go plus works if the PokemonGo app is on in the background so your phone battery should last a lot lot longer. I always carry an external battery with me though. The battery in the go plus lasts for ages and ages.

I hatched a caterpillar thing yesterday from my 2k egg and a tyrogue today, both new ones for me. My 5k egg was a sodding drowsy.

What time does the event end? I would like to get a lucky egg session in before then.

Just why are there so many single evolution pokemon in gen 2? And are there any that actually go above 1000cp? It feels like all of them are just shitty single evolution pokemon that wouldn't be able to battle a fly, nevermind a dragonite.

Seen 1 Chansey (and caught it thank goodness).

Played since the beginning, had a Pokemon Go Plus for two months now.
