Pokemon Go #6: Where pokemon babies are abandoned in gyms at freezing temperatures

Well, saw this little one left overnight in a gym. Sad, really... Where are his parents? What were they thinking? Do they work night shifts too?

So many questions...

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! We had an absolute beast of a wild Blastoise spawn in our house just now, 9-year-old DS caught it and mine fled. Harrumph.

Still, while we've been away I've finally got my Snorlax (I lurve him), and I've hatched a cute little Cleffa today and caught five Electabuzz, umpteen Charmanders and enough Bulbasaurs to evolve an Ivysaur.

I had 30 odd bulbasaur candy yesterday and now have over 90

caught a load of Charmander and Squirtle too.

I am so sad, I thought I would be wading through Bulbasaurs but my town is still stuffed to the brim with Pedgeys and Weedles.

I took over a gym and was asked for my number by a fellow pokehunter, I think he was impressed by my Gyrados!

3 charmanders, 2 bulbasaurs, 3 machops and a wild machoke today! Not bad for just the to and from bus stops!

I know Dame. I was half involved in a feminist discussion about gendered xmas gifts/jan sales (all the tech prezzies were in the men's section) and looking at a venosaur in my nearby. I forgot the conservation and announced I needed balls. Downed my coffee, left my coat with the others and went looking for my own damn balls.

Oh and try just outside the town centre. There's almost nothing in my usual spots the the pokestops just beyond my usual perimeter have a fair few. Also quite a few near the Starbucks, I'm wondering if it has something to do with their partnership in US

Has anyone else had this happen, where the pokemon gets really weenie and you can't click on him? He's super cute though, just teeny tiny.

We have a techy shop near us which is called mensomthing or other, dd loves it even with the limitations of having a girly brain. I always imagine going in an finding all the men operating the special men toys with their penises.

Managed to evolve Victreebel which was cool, so satisfying to fill in a blank space in the 'dex. Walking my Graveler now, luckily only 1k per candy!

I also have a ten k egg, 7th so far just hope theirs a Snorlax snuggled inside.

We were in a educational toy shop today. Really fun puzzles and games in the blue section then lots of starter cleaning and cooking sets in the pink section. I had a really loud rant in front of the owner then we flounced out for aforementioned coffee. Glad your DD is already ignoring the subtle signs.

I lost my balls and need more again. One bloody bulbasaur and one stinking 10 cp charmander caught cos the rain kept landing on the screen and making me miss. Going to bed early so I can camp on the pokestop two doors down.

Not sure what it's for but says it can't be copied so might be useful against a ditto.

Oh and, everyone else taking ages to load up this evening? Bloody NYE messing with hunting, what if I finally find my snorlax but can't catch it 'cos some twit needs to twat all their mates sat next to them.
On the plus side, that L7 gym next door will be going just after midnight. auld Lang sign all you like.

stuck on lvl 21 for ages. cant remember the last time i seen new Pokemon.

i have collected 87 so far. Pokestops are only giving me medicines which are useless as i dont battle.

Is there anything i can do to change this? oh and it is taking 6+ balls to catch anything

elizabethdraper Hang in there, it should get better! I remember feeling really frustrated at level 20 & 21 but things did improve: started seeing new Pokemon and getting things with much better CP.

And oh, ugh, yeah, the useless potions, lol. I don't battle much either. My local Pokemon super-dude does all the battling; I just come along later and throw my critters in the gyms after he's taken the gym. As for the potions, I throw them out and keep walking my Pokestop route. Eventually you can build up a nice supply of balls.

I'm really jealous of your porygon Snitch, they are soooo hard to find.

ED you can't change what comes out of the pokestops but you can discard what you don't use. If you are already discarding I saw a post on another forum that speculated you got more of what you'd discarded cos it looked like you were using loads. This guy was testing it by discarding 1 or 2 balls with the potions to see if he got more balls from stops after. He never updated to say if it worked but might be worth a try?

I only just managed to get a Charmader last night.
They need to mix things up a bit - half the Pokemon people mention on here I haven't heard of.

Stupid pokestops have stopped giving out eggs, only incubators - so I have nothing to walk just now!

Just hatched a Meowth and a Voltorb

LBOCS2, saw a wild Charizard tonight. DH caught his with one ball, around 700CP, mine took around thirty balls, nearly cleaned me out completely, and then had the gall to poof. I was gutted, it was 2040CP.

Been in Newcastle today, fair number of Bulbasaurs and Squirtles. I'm hoping nothing good shows up in the house tonight as neither DH or I have any balls left for anything obstinate. Grr!
