Well, saw this little one left overnight in a gym. Sad, really... Where are his parents? What were they thinking? Do they work night shifts too?

So many questions...

Hatched Igglybuff and Pichu today so three babies now altogether Grin

PickAChew · 03/01/2017 18:57

We made the most of better weather than we've had and DS1 having an extra day off school after DS2 went back and headed into Durham, today. Walked miles (uphill both ways - my fitbit reckons I've done 47 floors, though I reckon it's more like 30-35) and scaled some of the less hairy flights of stairs in Wharton park to catch half a dozen bulbasaurs there, in addition to the many bulbasaurs and charmander in the city centre.

We managed to replenish our eggs - DS1 had run out!

Hatches:

DS1: Male nidoran, Seel, two Staryu, Pichu and a charmander with 10 candy :)

Me: Ekans, Doduo, Magicrap, Staryu, Poliwag, Meowth, Exeggcute, Oddish Hmm (some of these might have excited me, 2 months ago)

He's now got 2 10k eggs and a 2k egg cooking, while I just have the one 10k and a 5k. Hoping there are some babies in all the ones I picked up today, because I only have a Magby. Given my track record with Magmar (4 of the buggers) I expect this 10k egg will be one, too.

FeralBeryl · 03/01/2017 19:11

I BLOODY GOT A SNORLAX!!!!!
Only taken nearly 6 months but hey Grin
Good few 10k eggs knocking around too. The new update has meant we have finally got our Venusaur too.
We've hatched 3 babies as well. Feels like there's a point to playing again now, bring on Gen 2. Have we had any more news about it?

TheOtherGalen · 03/01/2017 19:18

Wait, only certain pokestops give 10k eggs?

NameSux · 03/01/2017 19:52

Don't think it's been proven Galen but the techy guys are researching it cos there's enough of a pattern to suggest certain stops only give certain types of eggs. Apparently that's why so many people get the same ones over and over. For a while all my 10k eggs were onix and got them from the same stop but now that I work in a different place I'm getting all sorts so I believe it

LongtimeLurkerNowPokemonHunter · 03/01/2017 20:02

I got another Magby today. Still no smoochum, togepi or Cleffa. Have a 10k, 5 5k and 3 2k incubating at present.

53rdAndBird · 03/01/2017 20:06

Still no babies here. Really crap hatches too including three fecking Venonats. BUT, I caught a Dragonite in my bathroom last night! So chuffed - I used up all of my ultra balls, then all of my great balls, then finally caught it with my last standard Pokeball. 2306 CP too!

It didn't do too well when I appraised it, but the only other Dragonite I ever caught has 47 CP (not a typo - it hangs around in my Pokedex getting picked on by Pidgeys). So I am very happy!

CantstandmLMs · 03/01/2017 20:22

Hatched 2 zubats in a row today 2. And the excitement of 10ks is wearing thin as I've just hatched my third Low CP onyx in a row. Despair!!

Igneococcus · 03/01/2017 20:26

I hatched a Staryu, no babies anywhere, didn't get an egg either and there have been a few starter Pokemon's but nowhere near enough to make dent into the candies required to evolve anything interesting. I might throw a massive tantrum and never play again.

TallulahBetty · 03/01/2017 20:26

Just evolved this 'beast'. Hmm

Can anyone beat this for the crappiest CP on a third evolution 'mon?

Awwww he's a lil baby blastoise. Makes me think of this

Oh and congrats on the snorlaxe(snorlaxi) & dragonite. I'm not jealous. ...swearz Envy

PidgeyfinderGeneral · 03/01/2017 20:45

Congrats on your snorlax, feral! I was well chuffed when I finally got one too.

PidgeyfinderGeneral · 03/01/2017 20:53

On another note, WHAT is this kakuna doing to the pidgey! Shock

Well, baby Pokémon have to come from somewhere...

eitak22 · 03/01/2017 21:04

Pidgeygeneralfinder im not sure but it was definitely doing that to some Ratatas round near us. Wonder what Baby pokemon it would make?

53andBird I hatched a Venonat today and still dont have any babies so feel your pain!

QueenLizIII · 03/01/2017 21:10

I found a Drowzee shagging a raticate somewhere. I posted the pic on one of the other threads Smile

snitcheryoo · 03/01/2017 21:12

I'll never be too disappointed with Onix or Scyther candy, because, at some point, there will be Steelix and Scizor to evolve.

BumWad · 03/01/2017 21:34

Tallulah your Blastoise is amazing 😂

Hatched a Cleffa today - that's baby number 4 for me.

QueenLizIII · 03/01/2017 22:22

I caught a wild blastoise today.

Also I have over 80 Pikachus. Couldnt bear to delete but maybe high time I did.

Starlight2345 · 03/01/2017 22:28

New baby

QueenLizIII · 03/01/2017 23:04

is the event ended? had the weirdest experience. tried catching a pikachu. it made spearow noises instead of pikachu and when i caught it it had no santa hat.

it had a hat when it appeared.

EatingMyWords · 03/01/2017 23:08

We caught quite a good blastoise today each in Home bargains! Sorry Tallulah it beats yours a bit Grin Got heaps of charmander, pikachu and bulbasaurs too. Only hatched rubbish but I've got 4 babies so far, so can't complain.

Wow 53rd, I'd fall over if there was a dragonite in the house- never seen so much as a shadow of one!

PickAChew · 03/01/2017 23:20

Liz, we've had a few odd things with santachus. I spotted one before Christmas which turned into a pidgey before despawning.

I caught one, the day after, but DS1 had an eevee in the exact same spot and no sign of pikachu,

Dillite2 · 04/01/2017 01:38

We hatched a new baby! It's a Magby and he's adorable. I have another 10k egg cooking- according to the eggs hatched we walked around 10k around Bluewater. Not sure whether to be proud or to get a better hobby.
