I have only ever once seen a kabuto and it was in my office. I used a raspberry and an ultra ball and the fucker still ran away. Never seen another one.

We hardly ever see kabuto (or omanyte, for that matter.) We've found an omanyte nest in darlo, though, which we'll try to get to on Saturday - there's a bulbasaur nest just off the town centre which we'll hit, too.

Seems to be a good week for hatching dratini. I hatched one with 32 candy, a few days back. Just need to do that twice more for a dragonite, as I'm up to 75 dratini candy, now!

Another candy event for Christmas would be pretty useful, apart from the fact that I'll not be doing school runs, so won't be walking as much!

I finally have a Tangela! Hatched it on my walk home. Another Scyther in my 10k egg - suppose at least it stands me in good stead for Gen 2?

I hatched a Chansey and got a few Onixes from a local park. No Aerodactyl or Lapras though. I've finally got enough candy to evolve a Gyarados with a lucky egg session at the weekend!

I hatched two Chanseys, first one really early on. No Gyrados yet either but hoping I'll get enough candy to evolve it during the Christmas event.

I think Pinsir, Onys and Lapras are the only ones I'm missing from the 10k eggs though I could do with some more Dratinis so I can evolve.

I'll be evolving my fourth Gyrados with my next lucky egg, those Magikarp just line up to be caught when I'm out walking. I caught two Dratini this morning so I'm close to being able to evolve a Dragonite (I caught one a couple of weeks ago, yes you can hate me now).

I've never seen a Muk, Grimer or Scyther other than in a gym so I think they will be the ones that I'm relying on hatching rather than catching. Hopefully I'll be evolving the rhinothing and Charizard next week too, I just need to keep walking.

They do seem to be putting more rare Pokemon out this week.

After a couple of quiet weeks, I finally caught a Dragonite (I first tried back in the summer in my very first week of hunting when I threw balls at the thing until I ran out and it evaporated) and hatched my first Magmar (from a 5k egg). Also found a second Ditto and my second Pikachu meaning I can now 'buddy' it to get a Raichu.
Long may it continue.

Sorry if this has been answered before but with the magikarp being a low cp, when you evolve it does it evolve into a gyrados with a low cp and you have to power it up? My highest magikarp is 128 cp so it will be a rubbish gyrados? It's my buddy at the moment and I really don't like seeing it's flapping face next to me!
