Trying not to get my hopes up too much

I just spent £8 on poke coins. I feel like I lost my mind. But I needed some extra bag/ storage space and incubators, especially as gen2 are out on Monday.

I caught my second Ditto today!

I'm now level 33 and have completed my regional pokedex plus Taurus from a trip to the states.

Im suprised I'm still enjoying it so much. I like the changes to the gyms. Our local ones are now changing hands a bit more often which is good. I try and cash ten gyms everyday and generally only loose 2 or 3 overnight.

I have also just received my Pokémon go plus and I love it. I got it direct from Nintendo. It harvests loads of pidgys and ratattas. It missed a few good Pokémon such as a high level archanine 😭but I have to console myself that I wouldn't have seen them anyway.

I've been ploughing my coins into increasing my Pokémon and item storage. I've given up on incubators as I haven't had a 10k egg for a month or so despite hatching at least three or four 5k eggs a day.

My best Pokémon is a 2970 ryhdon with stone edge and great iv's

I managed to do a ballet class (which atm is a pretty big thing) - ALL of class (much bigger thing) & did so in a new custom-made leotard & some legwarmers (both birthday presents, legwarmers being stupidly expensive but v nice ones...). Was my teacher's last class before she has a pre-Christmas break, too.

Last year I had to cancel my plans because I was so ill I should have been in hospital & was eventually admitted just after, when my body finally announced it had had enough entirely thank you. Was too ill to have been able to play Pokémon while in had it been released then, unlike some of my earlier stays that year, when it would have been SUCH a blessing (& would have helped me brave leaving the ward by myself for first time with NJ tube in) but I managed to get home for Christmas. Just. Much to the surprise of the nursing staff, who had been fully expecting to have me there over New Year. Mwahahahaha! Hem.

I moved up to Level 28 but sadly didn't catch anything exciting. Hohum.

Is exciting news about Gen 2, even though I'm despairing slightly of ever finishing my Pokédex. Could they not just give us some Dratini nests now? Like the whole of the River Thames, perhaps?

Really REALLY hoping they'll change this weedle + caterpie in 5k egg nonsense though. Because really, it is just silly. And they should go & sit in the corner & just think about what they have done. Bad game developers. BAD.

Still on level 25 here and on 122 caught - I never see dratinis, I've had 2 in total - could really do with some egg hatches! So they come out of 5 or 10km eggs?

Wait, what?! Caterpies and weedles are in 5k eggs now? What kind of nonsense is that? Sitting in a corner would be too kind on them. I say they wear dunce caps andbhave their hands smacked with a wood ruler repeatedly.

I also didn't know about weedles/caterpies from 5km eggs - got 4 cooking now so I hope they're better than that!

I currently have an hour and half completely free time without anyone here, do I bum about and watch tv, get ready and go to work early to walk my eggs before my shift OR get on with the sewing I should have finished last week?! Hmmmm

Yesterday I noticed I got 2 green eggs out of the pokestops so when my 5k hatched I went to incubate one and sat there was a 10k egg. I checked my journal and it definitely says I got 2 2k eggs so I'm baffled! It wasn't there when I checked how much my 5k had left either. Anyway I'm not complaining was just a bit confused. It's incubating now. I bet it's something rubbish!

Looking forward to the gen 2 pokermon coming out. Got about 20 something left to get but a lot of them are ones I have never seen in my sighting's so not sure how I'm going to get them!

The orange eggs still show up green when you get the summary in map view.

Loads of reviews today, for definite and caterpie and Weedles have been a lot less common, lately. Venonats and paras seem a lot more common.

I actually got a Dratini from a 10k egg the other day. I was delighted with the 20+ candies.

Is the Chirstmas feature going to have the quadruple candies for walking?

If so I will continue with Dratini and then Kabuto as i rarely see those.

I also like the new feature of telling you where a further away pokemon is located.

I found a Dratini yesterday becasue of it. With a close dratini shadow on the old method i wouldn't have known where to look.

I just had fun! Stopped work for 5 min breather, no time for a proper lunch break. Checked on Pokemon and noticed solid red gym nearby in flames, down to 3 defenders. Made a quick excuse about the post office, jumped in car and drove there. Saw a man in a car who may or may not have been the attacked. Anyway, he drove away almost immediately, and when I check the gym had turned yellow with one defender! I battled them out and claimed gym for Mystic, and dashed back to work, no one the wiser! Don't expect to last long but it was fun.

I just caught an Ivysaur thanks to the new Nearby feature. I only ever had 3 bulbasaurs before so that is great.

I also just caught a wild Lapras. Good day all things considered.

Not been playing much. Have 100 candy for bulbassaur and abra now so don't need candies for any hind else and no 10k eggs is making it all a bit boring. Still catching a couple a day for the daily bonus but that's it

Hope the new ones do come next week.

There's a gym on the corner of the street where I work (central London) which changes hands about every 20 minutes or less. I took it one morning this week and before I'd even got across the road, I'd been kicked out and it was blue.

Managed to catch a machop, abra, magikarp and magmar last night while out, and I found some bulbasaur not too far from my house which was a bit of a bonus.

Still no 10k eggs. :(

Got a 10k egg from a pokestop this morning. Yay! I'd be well chuffed with a Dratini and a slew of candies like QueenLizIII, but I'd be even happier if I got something new for my pokedex.

Pikachu is visiting local McDonalds on Tuesday. My 7 year old charge (I'm a nanny) has never been in McDonald's but I am allowed to take her Tuesday yay lol it's surrounded my pokestops too and hopefully new Pokemon

I've been working in central London for a couple of days. I missed a Lapras on Southbank by 10 minutes that will teach me to keep an eye on Reddit. I've got a load of 5k eggs but my previous 10k gave me a Kabuto so I could evolve.
