Will one of you lot start the next thread when it gets to about 970ish posts. I'm going to get moaned at again, I can feel it in me water.

I'm on hold. It's my first day off in ages so I really want to just slob around in my joggers but if there's an announcement then I'll be spending nap times wheeling DD around the local hot spots.

Got a 10km egg on my way home last night but I'll have to buy an incubator to get it cooking. If I start it now though I should finish it during the event so it's pretty well timed. So many fingers crossed it's it's lapras or chansey!

I'm stuck at home waiting in for auto glass, today, so there had better not be anything good, just yet!

My podcast I listened to on the way to work predicts it won't be Gen 2 but release of shiny Pokemon of this gen . Just need to find out now!!

I'm hoping that it will be an announcement about something happening next week because that will give me enough time to stock up on balls. I did consider doing absolutely nothing until today but then decided to fling them about as normal. If it's new releases they will still be there another week and if it's an event I have a bag full of pokemon to trade in/evolve hopfully with double candy or something.

The shadow of a Dragonite came up on my nearby list. I was stuck on a call so sent DH out to get it, he did (amazing as he doesn't play) and whilst he was out my 10k egg hatched a Lapras! I'm walking a grimer (26 candies) and just need Muk to complete the eurodex.

Sigh. The 10k egg was another fucking electabuzz. However, I did get a second 10k egg this morning and caught a kabuto so it's not all bad.

I must be playing this game too much - last night I dreamed there was a lapras and I just needed to open my ipad and it would be there.

To be fair, PickAChew, I don't really get out of Sunderland and South Tyneside much for Pokemonning, occasional jaunt to Newcastle or Gateshead maybe but that's because I'm basically indulging the addiction as an incentive to get out walking for exercise, so am mostly staying local.

I'm surprised the accessible loos in The Bridges aren't up to scratch, would have thought they'd be decent ones - it is ridiculous if you're having to trail to the top floor of Debenhams each time. The McDonalds up along from Argos has an accessible loo at the back of the ground floor if I remember rightly, but I'm guessing that one doesn't work for your son either.

The loos in the bridges are vile. He needs to take his shoes off to change and, well...

Obvs that's what they've been waiting for to launch these new Pokemon, so any minute now...

Updates are usually about 1-2pm apparently. Goddamn it I've cleaned the entire house waiting!

wow Shellder that was lucky - a dragonite and a lapras in the same day. I havent seen a glimpse of either for months and my only 10k egg to have hatched recently, today, was a pi***g jynx! Luckily I have 2 more 10k eggs to go, they better not be something rubbish. Although what I really need are a tangela and a polygon and I think they come from 5k eggs. Havent been playing much recently (just enough to get my daily streak each day), too busy trying to get ready for Christmas and DH has a birthday tomorrow (stupid timing!) and havent had the time to battle in gyms.

. I noticed a friendly gym getting attacked so parked next to it and waited for it to switch to the enemy then took it down. Then began several battles where the gym was switching to and forth. I could see the rivals Pokemon getting less and less powerful and as a level 33 player I was knocking them out in moments. They finally ran out of steam and I put a mega Pokemon in. I was just sorting out my wounded Pokemon when two little kids maybe 10 years old walked past and tapped on my window. Fortunately the kids were laughing whilst pointing at my phone in mock horror. I felt really mean 😳

The only upside was that that at least they knew I was a real person rather than a spoofer. I almost hope they go back and kick me out.
