Pokemon Go #2. 6 balls to catch a Pidgey?!?

I'm a couple of thousand XP from level 20. Once there I might just grind up all the rubbish for candies and evolve the best ones.

I'm level 30 and have spent £3.16 since I started playing. I upgraded my item and Pokémon storage as soon as I downloaded the game. I can hold gyms though so I can earn pokecoins that way. I usually hold three or four but have occasionally held 9 or 10.

I don't use pokevision either .

Just did a mass evolve session, finally on level 22. Going to London tomorrow and I'm tempted to buy a load of coins and buy some incubators. I'm still in 2 gyms but I can't remember which ones.

Used up all my Lapras candy to power up it is now on 1948CP which is my highest. Should have enough Magikarp candies soon for my second Gyarados (I live near a nest).

Ive been up and down the street in every direction. It either drops of the radar or moves to position 1 and wont appear.

If i ever catch that Scyther I'll fucking kill it.

Our nearest friendly gym is currently level 7. It would take almost 9000 to up it to an 8 so we can join.
Any hints? I am sure I read something here about how to do it without needing revives, but I can't find it.
Admittedly we have lots and lots of revives and potions anyway.

Successful five mins. Caught Mr mime whilst searching for kabuto. Then hatched aerodactyl (my 4th. I want chansey!) and then found kabuto! That's taken 20k off how far I need to buddy him 😂

Hatched another ponyta yesterday, soon will have enough candy to evolve. Meanwhile look who's on my shoulder

If they ever bring trading it is happily swap this bad boy for an aerodactyl if your interested 😂😂

We spent a good half an hour taking over a level 5 red gym. In the end we managed to kick those snorlax beasts out. We are all out of potuons and revives now though, but boy did it feel good! I wish you could get loads of xp for taking over a high level gym.

I finished off two eggs today and two new pokemon! Vulpix and a Chansey! I'm more excited about the Vulpix at the moment as was hoping for something from my 10k egg that would help me take out the yellows who have control of the local gym. All the pokemon on there are at least 1500cp. I did level up also so now lv21 but such a long way until the next level!

And a fellow blue gym member has already kicked us out. Well, at least it is still blue.

I sat on top of a gym for half an hour today. Unfortunately it was red and I didn't fancy training. I wanted a battle.

Just Pidgeys and ratatas today. A shadow of a Hitmonchan and a golduck but never saw them.

My work has gone from a bulbasaur nest to a charmander nest to a Scyther nest , they're really hard to capture but I managed a 1112 one

I managed to train long enough and got into a friendly gym. Then I got into another gym and got kicked out within 15 mins. Not before i had collected the coins though.

That Scyther shadow is taunting me again and I am sick and tired of it. Is there a reliable map still available so I can find out exactly where it is?

Do Pokemon even have mother's? I thought they were all created in some laboratory somewhere.

Do you get anything for levelling up to 22?

I think I may have found a pickachu spawning site.

Nothing new for ages for me, but I took my friends son out in the car tonight so he could hatch some eggs, and catch new ones. He was thrilled!

76k on a evolve session so now up to 115k out of 250 to complete level 27. 130 on pokedex and far from getting any more. My next two will probably be nidoking and weepinbell (?) but I've only got around 55 candy for each. Sigh.

Nutella looks like we're at a very similar point! My next one should be Dodrio. 8 candies away!

I've had machop as my buddy for ages and only got to 100 on Friday. Now of course my 5k egg gave me one and 15 candies I don't need. FFS.
