Pokemon Go #2. 6 balls to catch a Pidgey?!?

I'm a couple of thousand XP from level 20. Once there I might just grind up all the rubbish for candies and evolve the best ones.

I'm at the point where I'm considering spending, for lucky eggs and incubators. I got up to 60 coins from gyms about three weeks ago then the local gym nearby just became impossible for me to take. Everyone is quite a few levels above me now, and I can't knock the current yellow team out.

Enjoying the new update today less poker on seem to be jumping out of balls. Caught a few decent cp ones with just one regular ball, I'm sure would have previously taken 5 or 6.

I'm very envious of those of you who manage to stay in gyms. Where I live its impossible to last more than a few hours. Sometimes my pokemon make it home before I do. Even went to a 'quiet' different part of town today, but my snorlax was back after a few hours. I try and get 1 in at least every other day, but have never been able to collect again after the 21 hours.

I had not bothered with gyms for a while and today I trained in two. I like the changes.

I spent money while I was on hols for incubators but nothing since. I've collected enough coins to increase Pokemon storage to 350 and buy 8 eggs. Now I'm slow moving.

I've not noticed any of that bonus they were talking about. Has anyone got any?

Took my local gym today but only lasted a few hours. The kids round here are very high levels and it changes team loads.

A few eggs that will hatch tomorrow. After my disappointing egg hatch sesh the other day I'm hoping for something a bit better!

Need more coins! About £2.50 on Google credit but very few surveys recently so the pennies are drying up there!

I find lots are escaping despite my supposed "gold medal". Just caught another Abra towards my Alakazam. And 39km to go with Dodrio!

I had a massive evolve session today and levelled up to 28.

These are my new toys. My Vaporean is my most powerful now.

Im back in now god thst was a long haul back.

I finally got enough candy to get a Raichu, was going to leave it until next mass evolve session but dd had other ideas, so now we have a Raichu!

And we have our very own Pikachu. She was so happy, it was like Christmas for her.

Another hitmonlee tonight from a 10k egg. Chansey still elusive.

3rd egg today was a damn weedle

Might do a lucky egg evolve session now as I'm bored waiting for someone to get online that I need to talk to. Although knowing my luck she'll turn up just as I set the lucky egg off.

Oh and I hatched 4 2km eggs today- a Pidgey, a Sparrow, a Pidgey and then finally a Bulbasaur. I was so fucking mad about those fucking pidgebrats.

Wow queen you're moving level fast! I've now done 25k on level 27 which is 10%! And it took me a week. Gah.

Someone please tell me where they are seeing this bonus? I can see the medals on the top when I catch something but I'm still only getting the usual xp.

So instead of collecting my 20 coins this morning I trained in 3 more gyms and ended up collecting 50 coins instead. Which hopefully means I won't need to spend actually money! I came across a Vileplume in one of the gyms and I couldn't believe how hard it was fighting against it, even my Vaporeon with a higher CP was having to tough it out! I haven't even got a bloody Gloom yet . I'm still in 3 out of the 5 gyms I was in this morning which isn't too bad.

Need to catch one more Oddish to evolve it which seems easy but I just don't seem to see that many round here

How do you "train" in gyms and get all those coins.

Queen- you train in a gym which already belongs to your team. You get in and fight as you would normally and the gym prestige goes up as you beat the existing Pokemon. At one point the whole gym changes level and a slot opens for you (on a round icon on the bottom left) so you can stick your own Pokemon in. Each one gives you 10 coins so if you had them in 5 gyms you would claim 50.

Way too fast. We were together at one point and you seem to have done 250k while I did barely 30k

Oops. Probably due to catching every f-ing pidgey I saw this time round for evolve sessions.

I also went out hunting this level when I normally sit back and see what come.

I do the same with Pidgeys! And usually manage under a week with lucky eggs. However I'm only half way through 27 (140k) and sunday is a week since I leveled up so I think I'll miss it
I notice a huge difference in the number of "fodder" pokemon for leveling up purposes when at home (rural). Really limits!
Away at the weekend and have heard of a charmander nest that spawns 6 an hour. I need 25 for evolution but don't think i can spend so long there! I really want my Charizard! And charmander hardly ever appears!
Still working on duodo. 36km still to walk!

I only have one Charmander so even if I buddy him and get the candies I wont want to evolve him.

Same with Pikachu.

Same with Ivysaur.

I have male Nidoran as my buddy as I only need 7 candies to evolve Nidorino.

I only need 6 candies for Sandshrew so that will be my next buddy and I have 3 of them but not enough candy to evolve.
