Minecraft

Anyone know if Minecraft is suitable for 8 yr olds? Not multiplayer, as don't want unsupervised access to internet, but solo version?

My 7 and 5 year old play it, it's fine :)

Yeah I'd say itd b ok for an eight year old. Gets them being a bit creative too.

My DD has the pocket edition and loves it but she seems to prefer creative mode. She had a server on survival and said she kept dying when she swam on survival and she was getting annoyed at those monster things that she had to fight but it is sutiable

my 4yo played it (he's now 5).

Mine craft is awesome. I'd probably go for PC version - I've been playing that since it was in beta mode and its great!
